I was surprised with how good the quality of these shelves are. There are directions for hanging included which were super helpful in getting the hooks lined up correctly. I did have to adjust some of the rope after placing my plants on the shelves, I think it’s because I placed my plants off centered. I really love this shelf because it's different with the rope and diagonal look. However, there's a few things I am not happy with. First, it's not as sturdy as I'd would want since the shelves aren't nailed into the wall. Second, be super precise and measure carefully when setting up the hooks, you don't want the ropes to end up diagonal. Finally, I am not sure if it's the way we set up the shelves or just how the shelf is, but one of the shelves does not sit flat on the wall. Ok this shelf is super cute. It’s a pain to put up and not have it be crooked but we fixed it. The problem is that if you don’t put even weight on each side of each shelf it’s all lop sided. We seen another review mention L brackets (genius) so hubby ran to Home Depot and grabbed some little L brackets and now it’s PERFECT and I can put whatever I want on it and not worry about it being all over the place. The shelf should come with brackets in my opinion for the price of the shelf but it is what it is. Pretty once fixed right. ... show more

Everything came as advertised. It came with stickers, in case you wanted to spell something out on the rims, which was cool but not needed in my case. The wood is lightweight, which in one hand is good because it won’t take down my curtain rod, but bad because it feels cheap. It came scratched up, maybe from packaging, maybe from something else. It fit perfectly! It is sturdy enough to hold some small items. Hanging it was simple but you will have to adjust the ropes so that they hang evenly once you put stuff on the shelves.
