I'm someone who has always had an air purifier in the home. From the old school round Honeywell filters, to Germ Guardians, to more modern Aroeve purifiers, I've owned a bunch over the years. This air purifier is my absolute favorite one. Why? Two main things: First, the washable filters. Buying filters all the time is a hassle and contributes to the garbage in the world. This unit uses electrostatic filtration. The second reason for me is the fully automatic setting. There's no babysitting needed. Set it on "auto" and let it do its thing. It will sense both dust/debris and odors. When it doesn't sense anything the unit is quiet as a mouse. When it senses either dust or odor it will raise the fan speed and adjust accordingly. Cons: The price of admission. It's spendy to purchase, and that will be a barrier to many consumers. The next con will also be the washable filters. While it's a benefit to me personally and the environment, it's a chore to do. Washing the filters and waiting for them to dry completely does consume time and takes effort. In the lazy world of today, many folks would rather choose to pop out and replace a paper filter in under a minute. Other things: The motorized angle adjustment of the output vent on top is gimmicky. It's "cool" to watch, but it sits in a set position so I don't see any advantage in having it motorized. A manually operated vent adjustable to three positions would serve the exact same purpose and lower the cost of production and hence lower the barrier to entry. If you're going to have a motorized vent system, it should at least be able to oscillate so that it moves the air around. The unit is fairly large, so you'll need the floor space. To provide perspective, it occupies roughly the same space two 5 gallon buckets stacked on each other would occupy. ... show more

Update!! Tried this unit in a smoke room and I’m shocked what it picked up!!! The dirty filter pictures is what it picked up in just 3 hours!! Mind you there are dogs in this area as well and it is a bit dusty but still!!! This thing is a beast!!! Seriously!!! What’s not to love about this thing!!! We’ve had it one not and I’ve already noticed a huge difference in the air quality in our home!! We recently just had a mold inspector out at our home and taught me a trick on our to see particles in the air with a flashlight. Since putting this by our return air unit like our inspector recommended, I’ve already seen a huge difference like he recommended!!! I do have a family member that think it’s too loud on its highest setting which I do agree if it’s in the living room and you’re trying to watch tv, however; if you’re like me and love to sleep to white noise, a fan blowing, or an ac blowing, then this is a beautiful feature to have!!! (That’s the highest setting though. The other settings aren’t loud at all). I will say I’m very impressed with the filtration system and the system itself seems well built! I also like the color coding, however; I do wish it would show the numbers in addition to how much particulate it’s picking up in the room due to the price but it doesn’t. The unit does also help cool the room which is also an added a feature. I’ve wanted to wear a hoodie a few times so I’m curious if when it’s winter if it will also help circulate the heat as well? I do enjoy the app too. I like that I can control it from another room. It’s very simple to use. Looks like I might be getting a second unit in the near future 🤩 ... show more

This air purifier has made a major difference in the air quality in my family room. In operation, you can't hear it running unless you hit the turbo button. I selected this particular unit because all the filters it uses (4 total) can be cleaned, so there is no having to purchase replacement filters for it. It does a nice job of handling odors as well. I love my air purifier I discovered that it does not work when you have a humidifier in the house it causes white dust to come out of the moisture that you put in the air and it lays on your furniture since I stopped using the humidifier the air purifier is doing the job it's designed to do and it doing it very well.. update; Since I removed the humidifier this filter works wonders on dust and orders.. in the automatic mode the fan speed most of the time on low speed but the minute somebody walks in with colognes and perfumes and things like that the fan kicks into high gear it notices that there's an odor whether it's good or bad and tries to assume that older and does very well cleans the air from dust and smells I love it I would recommend this product to anybody that wants to have clean air in their house this works like a dream ... show more

I was very impressed with the product until the fan started squeaking in less than 6 months of use. Now I have to deal with trying to get this fixed or replaced. As for doing what it is supposed to do (Clean /filters) the air, it does that very well.

I bought this in September of 2023. It worked great! The room I put it in has my bird which cockatoos put off a white powder like dust. It did an excellent job. I ran it continuously and the air quality was great. In January 2024, all of a sudden the motor seized. For nearly $400 and it doesn't last a year? Piece of junk! I bought it because it said you didn't have to buy new filters. Well - save your money and buy one that is half the price and deal with buying new filters every few months.
