    • It's very lightweight, has 3 speeds, and a long-lasting, deep filter.
I was happy upon its arrival, finding out how lightweight this machine is! After removing it from the box and plastic wrapping, I saw a bright red strip of tape - which I removed as instructed - that underlined the first instructions. It was easy to take the filter top off, remove the plastic covering the filter, and then replacing them. It has its own power cord that is short so that no one trips over it. An extension cord may be purchased separately from the manufacturer, but I didn't find it necessary to do so. It has no sleep mode. There is a central button on the top of the machine that turns the power on, as well as manages its 3 fan speeds. When you turn the purifier on, a light will be turned on, and a beep will be heard. The fan is activated at the lowest speed. Touch the button again for the medium speed, and again for the high speed. To turn it off, press the button again. The low speed, for those who like some white noise during sleeping hours, is quiet but audible. The medium speed and the high speed are each faster than the one prior to it. I think that fan speed during bedtime hours is to one's personal likes. Obviously, the higher the fan speed, the faster the pollens, pet hair and dander, and dust will be removed from the air. The HEPA/Carbon filter is tall and deep. I saw that many of the particles were vacuumed into the center of the filter as well as the outer perimeter. The filters can last as long as 6 months. When the first fan speed light appears yellow, It is recommended that the filter be changed. When the first fan speed light turns red, The filter MUST be changed. TIP: the plastic bag that covered the filter upon arrival and that was removed before using the purifier, can be saved and used to discard the dirty filter. Overall, I very much recommend this air purifier. I've had more than a few heavy, awkward, and noisy air purifiers during my life, and this one has them all bested. ... show more

    • Very quiet machine in 2 0f 3 settings
We live in a non-smoking home, so this machine is just needed for the bedroom to improve the overall air quality while sleeping. The machine comes very well packed, and the instructions were pretty easy to follow. The inner filter is in its own baggie and there are warnings all over to remove it before use. For me this was very easy to set up. I plugged it in next to the bed and pressed the top two times for the medium setting and let it run all night. The first two settings are very quiet, but the third setting is a bit too loud to sleep with. The top appears to be touch sensitive and you only need to touch it anywhere around the on/off button. Two taps at night and then two taps in the morning to shut off. I am not sure how long the filter will last and if it able to be cleaned rather than getting a new one, but for now it is working great and I checked the filter after 2 weeks and it showed very little signs of use. I can't say I really notice a big difference in air quality so far to be honest, but I will give it more time. This is not a cheap machine, so I am on the fence about recommending it at this time. A quick note.. If you use a plug-in air freshener in the room that this is running it will suck the fragrance right out of the air. ... show more

    • A Quiet yet Powerful Air Purifier with a Long Lasting Filter that makes Air Fresher!
This large area air purifier is great! It's got a strong fan that's surprisingly quiet too. It has three fan speeds and power settings that are nice, although I just run it on high most days. It definitely tackles dust - you know, the kind that gathers behind furniture. Since I got it, the air feels much fresher in my 450 sq ft living room. The filter light hasn't changed the setting light color yet, but it's only been a few months. They say it changes color within the first 6 months, then again at a year. If this truly is a year-long filter it will be awesome! I'll check it in a few months anyway, seems to be working well so far. I like that it's white because it looks clean and it's not huge in size. I recommend this for anyone with a small apartment or a big living area like mine, it does the job! ... show more

Decent air purifier. Very quiet even at the highest speed. Easy to set up and helps provide cleaner air. It does not have auto speed settings and an air quality sensor like some other brands do which may be a deal breaker but it does the job well. We have two dogs so we do see the hair piling up next to it which means that it's pulling air from all around. ... show more

This air purifier works really really well! I smoke and hate having my room lingering with that smell so this bad boy is perfect to clean up the air and keep it fresh. My only annoyance is that it is on the loud side so be aware of that, but it has a lot of power and works so good that I don't mind the noise. It just sounds like a good fan going and a lot of people like the background noise of a fan anyhow. I highly recommend this air purifier! ... show more

Not sure how effective this is. Construction is very light weight and doesnt appear to be designed to take any kind of abuse. There is a very lightweight fan inside and a paper filter. Photos from other reviewers show a foam insert, but I dint receive that. All in all, Im hoping it pulls some of the dust out of the air, but I do not feel the quality and operation of this filter warrants the $90 price its selling for. ... show more

    • Very loud on high but a solid choice
I’ve had a couple of air purifiers dotted around the house and this one is great if a little basic. Unlike some of the others I’ve played with this simply has three modes. Low, medium and high. Low and medium are great choices for smaller rooms but the high is very very loud, I don’t think it’s a huge issue especially if you set it and forget it but if you are going to be in the room at the time it’s distracting to say the least. I imagine the higher setting is doing the work though since you can feel and hear the power of the air flow. I have no complaints as long as I switch it before I leave the house or room. My main complaint would be that the simple on off functions don’t allow for any built in timer settings or auto shut off which many I have do. But in retrospect it’s super simple as it’s just on and off, that’s it. The filter is Hepa and charcoal and claims to last up to a year with proper maintaining so that’s great and the filter is super simple to replace. Over all I think it’s a good little filter, as long as you don’t mind the noise. ... show more
