Treats my horse won’t eat: sugar cubes, peppermints, apples (whole or sliced), watermelon rinds Treats he will eat: carrots and THESE SNAX! Seriously, he loves these. They’re small enough to use for positive reinforcement training, to keep in your pocket during a ride, or to use for “carrot stretches” if you don’t have carrots handy. Plus they’re low sugar so I don’t feel bad giving him a big handful to bribe him out of his pasture. I seriously loves these so much that he perks up when he hears the bag open. I was looking for a treat that would not be too high in sugar, and semi-healthy. I have a 5-year-old gelding and want to make sure he doesn't gain too much weight. He absolutely loves these treats and constantly tries to get his muzzle in my pocket to steal more. These treats are not too hard and I am able to break them between my fingers with ease. I have also given these treats to my horse's pasture mates and they love them as well. If you're looking for a crowd favorite with only a few good ingredients this is the treat for you.
