These were recommended on a BLW podcast I was listening to and they did not disappoint. We have been using for about a month and she loves them. It goes straight to her mouth every time. Now sometimes the food ends up on her top lip, her hand, or back to the tray, but getting messy is part of the fun of eating at this stage. I got these for my 5 month old who has started eating a few purées. This is easier for her to hold, and get to her mouth, because they are shorter and have a bigger handle. I don’t really understand the reason for the hole in it for the stage 2 one, but it picks up the purées well, and she’s able to get food out. She also uses this as a teether while eating, and I think it helps soothes her gums a little during meal time. Over all I really like them, I’ll probably have more to say the longer we use them.

I never had an issue with these. My daughter loved them. I believe I ordered these when she was about 8 months and now she’s 10 months and uses a regular kids spoon with no problem. I truly believe these help teach kids because after a while she was using these like a champ. I wanna say it took a few weeks for her to get the hang of it.

My 7-month old loves these; he favors the ones without the holes and we use it to let him help feed himself while we feed him with a more traditional spoon. This gives him something to gnaw on and interact with and it stops him from grabbing the spin we are using to feed him. I just wish these heads a loop on the end to be able to attach them to a string to prevent them from being flung overboard

These are awesome for preloading during baby led weaning! They hold food better than a regular spoon and are easy for my son to hold and get to his mouth. My dog even enjoyed them... too bad he ate the spoon and not just the food off of it...

Buy them for beginners, they’re perfect to teach babies how to eat! These are very unique but ideal for beginners to learn how to bring a utensil to their mouth. The small spoons (you get 2, about 4 inches long) are made of soft rubber with opening in the inside of the spoon part that grabs up food so your baby can bring it to his mouth and suck on it. So he really doesn’t have to have a lot of manual dexterity or ability to scoop up and hold spoon level as he brings it to his mouth. He just has to jab at the food hopefully with a thicker consistency so it stay on the spoon and then just sucks or swallows it. Eventually he gets the picture, and starts jabbing at the food a lot gaining the motor skills and control… to eventually feed himself and then progressing to using a baby or regular spoon. I really wish my grandson had these earlier instead of using his little hands to feed himself… and having most of the food land everywhere except in his mouth! Lol!
