Update: This is also the only flavor my cats like: they weren't fans of the mackerel or the turkey, so if you have finicky cats, maybe experiment with the flavors and see what they like. This is my first day trying it with my two cats, so this review may be a bit premature, but I set it down, and they dug right in with gusto. My girl was a stray for awhile, so she's especially selective about what she eats, so I called it a win when she barely hesitated. When you open it, you can tell the ingredients are quality- it doesn't have that artificial look/smell that a lot of cheaper brands do, and it didn't break my bank to buy a month's supply. I also see no sign of it being dry, as some of the other reviews have suggested. At least not yet. I'm gonna call this a mommy win. ... show more

I feed this flavor and the two others from this manufacturer so that my cats don’t become tired of it. It is virtually all meat with no grain so more healthy for my little carnivores.

After some reasearch on what to feed my kitten, I decided on NULO chicken Turkey paté for my kittens primary meals. I have purchased 2 cases of this food in the past 4 months, and my cat loves it. I was about to purchase more to find it is unavailable, but I cannot find why. Are the comments about recipe change true, was there a couple bad batches as previous reviews state? Nulo please respond to your costumers. I am so glad I feed my kitten a varied diet including Nulo, Tikicat, Instinct Raw and fancy feast paté, exactly for situations like this when one is not available; That is a cat owner responsiblility, but I would like companies like Nulo that have loyal customers to be more transparent about these changes! ... show more

The cats love this, it's their favorite brand and 2nd favorite flavor (duck & tuna is the first). They have no issues when it's cold from the fridge and the large can last almost a day for 2 large (10-12 lbs, adult energy) cats. The only issue I don't like about Nulo is all of their three large cans have some sort of fish in them, even the chicken and turkey one. Hopefully they change this soon as I like to keep the mercury, etc level lower in my furkids. ... show more

All 8 of my cats won't eat the Nulo Turkey and Chicken flavor in the 12 oz cans. For reference, I usually get the Dave's cat food turkey recipe in the 12 oz cans, and my cats sometimes get tired of that and momentarily snub it, but they always come back and eat it. The Nulo was a good price with a percentage off coupon, so I decided to try it. But alas, my cats will not touch the Nulo Turkey and Chicken flavor, even if they haven't eaten much all day. The Nulo ingredients are great, and it seems like they should like it, but they just won't eat it. - They won't even eat it when I put their favorite flavor enhancing topper on it. At least I can add it to my dog's food, so I am not just throwing it out. FYI, my cats are slightly more receptive to the Nulo Salmon and Mackerel flavor in 12 oz cans, but only if it is a can that has just been opened in (literally) the last couple of minutes. I will not be buying any Nulo again, unfortunately. That's too bad, because it seems like they are really trying to create a decent canned food with good ingredients. ... show more

I'm down to the last three cans from my last purchase. I opened the can earlier today to use a small amount for my cat's thyroid medication, placed a pet food can lid on it and put it in the refrigerator. Tonight I opened the can, tapped it out into the resealable container I use. As I looked at the contents, I could see what looked like a bone chip at the bottom of the contents. I picked it out. It is approximately 1/4" in diameter. I then continued to scrape off a little more after splitting the can into two sections in preparation to give my cat her evening thyroid medication. I then started to find more chips of bone no smaller than 1/8" in diameter. I find this unbelievable, outrageous and irresponsible of whomever is producing and packaging the product for Nulo. In the past month I have found a total of 1 to 3 chips in a can, even after smashing the contents to break it up in the cat's bowls. The 11 chips I found tonight, were before breaking the food up into sections for my cat's bowls. The bone chips could easily scrape, cut or puncture the lining of my cat's throat, esophagus, stomach, intestines etc. This is frightening. I now plan to look for another product after using this now to feed my cats for several years. I am outraged! ... show more
