A little wider than I expected but still did the job. The issue is that the subs that I had are mounted closely together so the grates couldn’t be mounted horizontally like most people have them or they’d overlap and not sit flush. Instead I just mounted them vertically which is fine for me and they work as expected. Heavy gauge metal and way better than some plastic mesh grates and they allow better airflow than even GOOD metal mesh grates. They even help protect my cones from my mowing equipment when I load them up in the same vehicle.

These are sleek and nice. They are good for standard woofers but if you have any long throw woofers then you will need something taller or spacers so the sub doesn't hit the bars. That is the only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars.
