    • The shoe of my dreams ... almost!!
I've been wearing the regular (non-soled) Nufoots for a couple of years now, as my "go to" comfort shoe when my bunions, bone spurs, etc. make it impossible for me to wear "real" shoes. And I'd been fantasizing about my Dream Shoe. It would have the soft, flexible uppers of Nufoot, with a nice, sturdy sole like my Merrell's. So when I stumbled across these Futsoles, I was cautiously optimistic. They SOUNDED like my Dream Shoe. But I was hesitant, because there are some negative reviews here, primarily from people thinking the sizes run too small. Well, let me reassure you: these are VERY similar to the other Nufoots, so if you've been wearing Medium or Large in those, you're fine ordering Medium or Large in these. My Large Futsoles fit just fine - in fact, I'm wearing them right now. The sole is great! I actually wear out my Nufoots walking on a dirt path near my home, and just yesterday I was wondering if this sole would be sturdy enough to keep some of the gravel from scratching my foot. It really feels like it's going to do just that! My ONLY complaint - and this is a teensy tiny little one, which may dissipate after I've worn them for a while - is that they're just a smidge too low in the heel. I can understand why some people have complained that the heels slip off. However, once I took off my socks and just put them on barefooted, they felt fine, and it feels like the heel is hugging my foot closely enough that it won't slip off. I'll be taking them out for a test walk later today, but just wanted to post this to say - if you've been considering these, but aren't sure they'll be as comfy as your regular Nufoots - they are! Go ahead, buy 'em! Worst case scenario, they won't be 100% perfect but they'll be great to wear around the house. And I'll update my review later to let you know how they felt out on the path. ... show more

I have used these as shower shoes and pool shoes, and I've even worn them to a show. They are comfortable and versatile, with apparent good traction. They do not have any arch support; however, they fit well, are lightweight, and take up no room in a suitcase.

these saved my life on my recent internationa; vacation. they take up very little space in our personal item bag. well made. i ordered a size up due to the strap not being adjustable. which was a good thing since our feed did swell alitt.e. used them every day for the 14 day trip.. i am telling everyone to buy themselves a pair that i know. i will by a pair to live in my camper trailer ... show more

    • I love these shoes, but have experienced very inconsistent sizing.

I’ve purchased multiple pairs of these because they are so comfortable and easy, but there is major sizing inconsistency that makes me not want to purchase more. I purchased two pairs of black Maryjane shoes in my size and they were both too tight. I also got the white/black filigree Maryjane’s in my size and they fit perfectly, which was the reason I ended up buying the second pair of black Maryjane’s and had the same problem of being too tight. I wear a size 10 shoe, so I’m also at the end of the sizing options. Just very disappointing to say the least. If you are able to size up, then you should do that to be safe. ... show more

I love these barefoot style slipper shoes. I am a size 10 and ordered the XL, which is for size 10-11. I was surprised that they squished my toes but after wearing them for a day, the fabric has stretched a bit and my feet feel great. Good for tai chi and martial arts, also good for hiking. There is more cushion from the soles than I expected. For this price, I would recommend these to anyone looking for a simple, comfortable shoe. ... show more

    • Sweaty slippy mess

Let me preface this by saying that I live in hot, humid Florida -- so your mileage may vary on this review. These shoes are hot. And by hot, I mean uncomfortable, sweaty, non-breathing, swamp foot-roasting hot. And I wore these in the spring before temps reached their summery, air-swimming peak. I lasted half a day in my air-conditioned office before having to take them off under my desk. And when I put them back on, they kept popping off my ankles while the front of my feet played slip-and-slide on the footbed. I was not going to return them in obviously used condition, so I washed them, sprinkled them with baking soda, and donated them to a local thrift store where a more cold-blooded person than myself may get some use from them as house slippers in an arctic-air-conditioned home. Before I sign off, let me talk about the fit -- because it was pretty good, and you might get some good use out of these if you live in the frozen north. I wear a size 7.5-8 women's shoes USA/ 38 EU, and I have what can best be described as a "high volume" foot. My feet are a little wide at the toes, but they are a lot tall across the arch. The medium fit just fine, and the strap wasn't too tight. The back of the ankle on the shoes (where the tab is) goes up higher than my liking, and if you have sensitive feet, this may bug you. But it is soft and didn't cause any blistering up (which is surprising for how much my feet were slipping around in them once they started sweating). ... show more

    • Excellent barefoot shoe, not a great edema shoe
Size: Large Color: Pink
First of all, these are great barefoot shoes. They have just enough cushion to make them wearable but not so much that you can't still feel the ground. They do run a little small. I normally wear an 8 wide but sized up to the large and my toe is right near the end of the shoe. I did also add some grip tape to the inside of the heel where they are a little prone to slip. They are not the most beautiful shoes I own, but I now have 4 pairs in various colors and wear them daily. Comfort over style. Secondly, even though they do have a great stretch to them, I don't think they'd be a good edema shoe due to the heel slippage issue. So far they are holding up well and taking the place of my sneakers, sandals, flats, and well everything. ... show more
