    • Well Made and works very well as advertised; YOU NEED THIS APP- "iCSee" to setup the camera.
The camera followed me around the room and worked pretty much as advertised. However, the free test sample I received did not include any info about the phone App required. I am a newbie to security cameras. I scanned the QR code on the card enclosed in the package. I started to set the camera up at the QR code link. I found part way through the account set up that they wanted my credit card info! No way- I thought. Turns out, the QR code link I was using only allowed you to set up a cloud storage account and was not for the camera hardware! Since I had purchased a SD card for storage I did not want the cloud storage. I looked for another instruction but found nothing in the box. I came back a 2nd day and found the setup video instruction at the Amazon sales page that gave the control App name. Armed with the name of the software Ap (iCSee) (both iOS and Android) with free and paid versions, I loaded up the free version. And in a few minutes the camera was functioning. In another 10 minutes I had the basics. My main issue was with lack of instruction as to which App to use! If it had included some note in the package about the control Ap required in addition to the links to the cloud service and warranty. I would have given the unit 5 stars. ... show more

This was so easy to install: we unscrewed the lightbulb and its cover that was above the front door, and screwed in this security camera. I downloaded the app to my smartphone, followed the included instructions for adding the camera to our internet connection, and voila! It's got a great adjustable view, and lights that turn on automatically if someone approaches the door at night (otherwise there's an infrared camera on at night, too). I get an alert message on my phone app if someone is at the door and the camera takes a photo. Paying a fee for cloud storage is optional so it's really an affordable alternative to name-brand security cameras. Recommended! ... show more

I got this hoping it was going to be as good as the reviews. The 1st one would always move to the down position after recording movement and when in night mode the light constantly flashed. I spoke with amazon and they sent me a new one. I still have the same issue-as soon as it records movement it moves to an odd position. Idk why and very frustrated.     • Bulb Camera is Brilliant !
The Camera and the FREE Camera app made this Camera exceed my expectations. Included in the box is a wall plug adapter and a light socket adapter. I was glad to see the light socket adapter since I have recessed lights. Rather than read the instruction manual, I downloaded the Camera App and looked in the help section of the app and found a video that shows every step to get up running quickly. Also, I was able to easily get my Alexa and google devices to work with it. Picture quality is excellent and camera has a Micro SD slot to record camera footage. The SD card is not included and the other option is to pay for cloud storage. The camera app has a setting that will cause the camera to move and follow the subject until they are out of range. Real nice since I put my camera on the Patio and pointed it at the driveway, yard and mailbox. After a set amount of time the camera will rotate back to the home position you have set. Nice! I will be taking the camera whenever I am on vacation to monitor my Hotel room when I am away from it. If you have elderly parents, kids or pets this device is perfect for monitoring them and has an intercom built in to it. I bought the wifi Light Bulb Security Camera for my backyard. I could say that for me it has been the best . Very easy to install , the picture and video for day or night time is very clear. I do suggest to have a high speed internet if you want to get this camera .

    • Do not touch valuables
Still need to go get a candelabra to standard socket adapter for a couple $ to put it outside but in extensive testing indoors I'm pretty impressed. These bulb cams are brilliant and very versatile. Sensing and motion tracking are very good. I've had cameras that are too hit and miss in regard to sensing that I can't trust them and others that flat out won't sense anything at night ever. This puppy sees and tracks me every time I walk by, whether light or dark. Also, most I've encountered don't do continuous recording like this one. Great for monitoring workers in your house etc. You can also have it tell them not to touch your valuables every time it senses them, among other warnings or custom recorded message. I will probably bypass the sensors on my exterior motion lights in favor of these as it has its own lights. Much easier than having to run wiring from attic and drill holes. All in all, I can't knock it yet, especially at the price. ... show more

takes too long to load up , like 40 seconds sometimes , my router is about 30 ft from it , Not enough instruction on how to get it to track movement , and use the light and speaker feature . Guess I'll have to just firgure that out ..?
