I ordered this Nude Metallic Lipstick in the color “DP101 Halo”. I followed the “Tip” listed on the box that suggests to apply a light balm on your lips first & blot away any excess in order to give you the perfect canvas. I then applied the lipstick & it went on beautifully & smoothly. The color is exactly as depicted in the product images. It’s very lightweight & nots oily, greasy, or sticky & it did not leave behind any type of residue at all. I love the applicator as it’s fine tipped for precision & the hollowed out center holds plenty of lipstick where there’s no need for reloading. It dries quickly & once dried., it has a matte-like feel with a metallic look. It’s very comfortable to wear. It did not dry out my lips & my lips felt well hydrated., though that could be from my balm that I applied before applying the lipstick. It’s very durable with all day wear! I used a piece of paper towel & tried scrubbing it off really hard & was able to get some of it with force but couldn’t get it all off until I washed my face with face soap. It covers extremely well with single swipe & did not need to reapply at all! Authentic this review, it’s originally priced at $9.99 & currently has a 30% off coupon offer & it’s my opinion that the original price is fair & the current sale price using the coupon code is very well priced making it a great value for money! This gloss truly looks exactly like the product image. It is not sticky, no taste, and dries down without losing the metallic shine. I'm very impressed--after 6 hours, which included eating and drinking, this gloss is still going strong! I will note as someone over the hill, this metallic look can highlight wrinkles in the lips. Just something to know going into it.

I really really wanted to love this lipstick but it fell short for a few reasons. While it is certainly a matte formulation, it’s not hydrating as it claims to be. The exact opposite, it felt like it sucked all the moisture out of my lips and then made them shrivel, lol. The color is not a dark red; when I applied this lipstick it was semi-transparent and had an orange hue that wasn’t flattering. I can pull off bright and dark reds, but not oranges. It’s very goopy when you apply it, but dries down and feels very heavy on my lips. May be a sensory thing for me, but I just don’t like the way it feels. Being that it is metallic I was expecting it to show some creases and folds, but because it’s so drying it made my lips more wrinkly than they are and the metallic just emphasized it. That being said, it is a generously sized tube, and the matte formula does stay put pretty well for long wear.

I got the red lipstick. It looks very cool. I wasn't sure how a metallic red would translate in real life. It goes hard. I just have to match it to my look of the day. Sometimes the metallic red is too much for some outfits or color schemes.
