Description

Inspired by mid-century design, the classic medium brown woodgrain laminated particleboard and MDF give the stand a sturdy build that will last for years while the black metal hairpin legs add a retro twist. The stand is the perfect size to place your record player and the open cubbies offer plenty of options to keep your albums organized. You can store them upright in the 4 lower cubbies or keep your favorites at the top in the large upper cubby. The Novogratz Concord turntable stand ships flat to your door and requires assembly upon opening. Two adults are recommended to assemble. The stand can hold up to 30 lbs. And the large cubby will hold 25 lbs. Each smaller cubby will hold up to 5 lbs. Once assembled, the stand measures to be 34.1”H x 20.7”W x 18”D.

I was super skeptical of buying this because of some of the reviews, but I’m glad I did. A “vintage” version of this exact same thing would sell for much more. It holds all my records well and the drawers are smooth. No damage to it at all. The only issue I had was that it arrived a day later than expected, but thankfully I was in no rush. It was easy to put together (I did it by myself) and only needed help carrying it upstairs in the box - its 78 pounds and awkward to carry. I only used a screwdriver (it said you needed a hammer but I never actually needed to use one). I’ve put together lots of ikea furniture and I would say this is about the same as that, if not a little easier. Just follow the directions closely and you’ll be fine! I don’t normally review stuff, but I hate to think that I almost didn’t get this because of all the bad reviews. If you’re looking for an ikea-quality record stand that is stylish, affordable, and easy to assemble, I highly recommend it! ... show more

Definitely a good two and a half hours to build this solo (the drawers being the biggest pain), but for anyone out there shopping for turntable stands, you just can’t beat the price and modern look on this (see Etsy for some certainly well-made, though laughably expensive stands; I don’t have $850-$2,000 sitting around for this sort of thing). Also had some delivery issues with UPS (vague delays, possibly due to heaviness? This thing does weigh in the neighborhood of 75 pounds), and there were a few dings on one corner, and a scratch on the surface, but nothing worth writing home about (and easily fixed with a touch up pen). Probably holds about 160 LPs. Anyways, I had one of the smaller stands by these guys with no drawers, but got rid of it quickly with the growing collection, and really wanted the drawers for extra mats, brushes, headphones accessories, etc. A solid deal: affordable and really does the job! ... show more

    • Lovely cabinet - nightmare to put together...

Bought this for my Son (newly obsessed with vinyl records). Took me a good 4 and a half hours to assemble (at a leisurely pace...probably could have cut that time in half if I'd just focused on the assembly and nothing else). I will say up front I HATE cam locks. They're made of cheap porous metal and will break if not careful. I've assembled dozens of furniture pieces with these cams. They are molded cheaply and quickly which can cause the cams to either have flaws (burrs that get in the way of locking capabilities) or they're not fully molded, so the cams are more rounded in areas and the cams do-not-lock. I have a gorgeous desk assembled with these cams. I love this desk, but every three to four weeks I have to lay under the desk with a flashlight - open one of the drawers and reach up into a corner with a screw driver to re-tighten the one cam that comes loose on it's own. If I don't tighten it (over half a turn - the cam bolt loosens almost completely out of the cam) the whole drawer section will sag in the middle. Eventually this is going to break, but I've managed to remember to tighten it every month for the last 6 years so... Aside from the cams and the occasional cam bolt splitting the cheap pressed board material during assembly (hidden/unseen when finished - so that helps), and the metal wires that hold the records (also not fully molded - so they pop up/wont stay in on a few of the holes that they insert into - or - they are melted on the ends/not cured well enough, so they are big blobs that wont fit into the holes they are supposed to go into), I'm happy with the purchase (about 135.00 w/tax). A little more R&D at the Factory and this could be a perfect piece. I still give it 5 stars - as it truly is a beautiful design and looks amazing when complete. ... show more

    • Great stand for your TT, no holes for wiring though
I bought this stand as a compact way to house my turntable (on top) and go-to vinyl in the bottom. For the money, this item provides a lot of value in a stylish, mid-century look. The instructions were well done and clear. No issues setting it up alone. The company also provides a lot of dimension and weight load details which I appreciated considering the heft of my gear. The only real cons is that it doesn't offer an adjustable base or feet for leveling, but that's OK as my TT has adjustable legs. The biggest issue is that there are no holes behind the top shelf for wiring to come through. I put my amp and CD player on that top shelf but ended using a hole-saw to get my wires through. Ultimately I could live with it, but it does kind of beg the question... if this is an audio stand, how does one deal with wiring? ... show more

The dimensions of this table were exactly what we were looking for. The drawers probably couldn't stand much weight in them, but other than that feels/looks high quality. Been looking for a piece of furniture for our turntable with specific dimensions and this fit the bill! We have an area in our living space and this fit perfectly. It looks great and we are very happy with it. You do need to put it together and it took my husband and I a little over two hours to assemble, but then we did not rush through the process. All the pieces and parts needed were in the package. The only problem was the top was damaged, there was an 8-inch long crack on the top which was visible. I called the number on the product assembly manual and explained the issue. They were more than helpful! I called on a Friday and we had a new top piece that following Thursday. We did assemble the entire product and just removed the damaged top and replaced with new one. Highly recommend this product, not only because it looks great, but the customer service was outstanding!! ... show more
