While I am not blind without my glasses, I tend to misplace my reading glasses all the time and wander through the house asking annoyed family members once again if they have seen them. This is the second set of these glasses that I’ve purchased. I was hit by a drunk driver and got a broken neck. After the accident, I needed a higher strength, so I purchased a second set. I get many compliments on these, and love the way they look. The lenses are clear, and clean easily. The frames are pretty sturdy. Photos are of before and after the car crash. UPDATED REVIEW: I wasn’t originally 100% happy with these, but they have won me over. I just ordered my second set since I have grown to like them a lot. I wear readers all the time for close work so I wear them A LOT. They are colorful and comfortable to wear. They are also pretty durable. I’m buying a second set since I have lost a few and because I have them spread over two houses—-not because they have broken. I often just toss them into my purse totally lose and not in a case, and they haven’t scratched or broken. And at about $12 for 5 pair of pretty durable readers, how can you go wrong? That’s an average price of $2.40 each. My original review said they were large on my small face and overpowering, but I guess I have totally gotten used to that so it’s not even a concern now. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I spend a lot of time on video calls for my work and unlike in-person meetings, I have to wear reading glasses on my computer. I wanted to get some cat-eye glasses for a bit more fashion on these calls all day. I picked these based on a combination of reviews and price. They are comfortable and work great as reading glasses, but they are not quite the fashion I hoped for. Why not? Two reasons: (1) I have a smaller face, and the top edges of the glasses (by my temples) stick out quite a bit from the edges of my face and (2) that same area of the glasses frame—the top corners—seems very thick on my face. They are overpowering on me. That, together with the lenses being on the large side for reading glasses, makes these not look as nice (on me) as a lot of other cat-eye reading glasses I have had. I like these glasses, except for the way they look—but that is the reason for cat-eye glasses! Next time I need reading glasses, I’m going to purchase cat-eyes again—but different ones. I write honest reviews to help others make informed purchases because I read reviews myself and appreciate how helpful they can be. I hope that my review helped you! ... show more
