You can also adjust it down to make it more portable. The handle has a padded grip along with a strap to use so you don't drop it. Really well built and light weight. It’s adjustable so it will fit anyone’s geometry. Maybe the most important thing is the grip is soft and absorbs shock well. It bares weight perfectly and doesn’t hurt the hand. Definitely recommend this if ya have an issue walking.

Recently had to start using a cane for balance (been dizzy for like 4 months straight, it sucks), and first I borrowed one from my sister-in-law (fine but rattled), then my mother-in-law (too heavy), and then I asked some chronic illness friends for help and one of them recommended this brand. This one's light enough to not make me tired from walking all day, but STABLE. I can put all my weight on it and not feel like it's going to crumple. I found a local car guy to paint it up custom for me (highly recommend) and it turned out so well that he's also getting business from some other friends to do theirs! I got a folding one from another brand on amazon, some cheap $16 thing, and that one just feels flimsy in comparison. That one can live in the car for emergencies, but this one is the one I'm gonna trust for daily use.

I just recieved this cane today so my review is based off a couple hours of use. All in all I am happy with this cane. It is sleek, sturdy, easy to adjust in height and light enough so I’m not hurting my shoulders or back to lift between steps or when storing in the car, etc. A few minor things that I have to mention are: 1. The grip is not as soft as the foam grips or other rubber soft grips like on my Hurrycane. 2. did come a little dirty as shown in photos. 3. The piece that connects the strap to the cane is loose and wiggles without effort so I worry one day it will fall off. 2. It did come with a scratch on the handle and near the tip even though it was shipped in a bag and surrounded by paper in a box however, with a sharpie or some paint that would be hardly noticeable if at all so I’m not too upset by it. I really do love this cane and find it as comfortable and offers as much stability as my other canes (hurrycane, drive medical offset handle and wooden cane with rounded “candycane” handle). It goes with anything I wear so it makes it a good cane to use for any occasion and I feel it’s more youthful looking then my drive offset which looks like a standard silver hospital cane. In case this helps in some way I have autonomic dysfunction, vertigo, a connective disorder and polyarthralgia and use a cane and other mobility aids for balance, to lean on when I get dizzy or fatigued and to relieve pressure on my joints and muscles while walking. I will add better photos of the whole cane soon and update my review after a few weeks of use. Hope his is helpful.

Totally love my cane! I noticed after getting use to using it,I was standing up straighter and it made my back feel better. I am having knee pain and the cane has really made a big difference in the over all pain. It is very sturdy and as promised, it is not rattling. It also is very reassuring because you can feel it's strength. The height adjustment was very easy to do. The color a quality of the paint and overall appearance is wonderful. Like I said I love it and I was not looking forward to using a cane. This cane has made me see the hope of walking in less pain every day. The size is great. I thought it would be to heavy and be bulky but no it is great. You won't be disappointed, it's an investment for your overall health.

For bigger folks who want more assured support than the usual 250 or 300lb rated canes, bariatric canes are what you need. However most bariatric designs feature heavy duty metals that add weight, and cause more fatigue for the user. This cane does not do that. This cane gives you a full 500lbs of support, is visibly sturdier than lighter weight canes, but the aluminium alloy used in this cane keeps the weight down so that it is a breeze to use with the nice soft foam handle. The larger the slightly larger diameter of the design also lends to a slightly larger cane tip, offering more gripping area on every surface. I used this cane for three days and immediately ordered a second one to have as a backup in storage. This is an excellent product at an excellent price.

A few years ago I bought a steel Drive Heavy Duty Folding Cane (500 lb rated) and it worked well. After I lost the cane, I ordered the same cane as a replacement. I was sent a lighter weight cane than I had purchased so I returned it. I never thanked the seller of the Drive for sending the wrong cane. If they had sent the right cane I’d never have purchased the much superior Nova. As I just intimated, I still needed a heavy duty cane so I ordered the Nova Heavy Duty Walking Cane with Offset Handle and I couldn’t be happier with it. The cane I received was as rated (500 lb). The aluminum construction is lighter than the steel Drive I previously had. The Nova doesn’t fold but I found that I never needed to fold my cane so that’s no loss. Because it doesn’t fold there’s less pieces to move around and rattle, so the cane is much quieter to use than my other cane was, a big plus. Both canes are amazingly affordable —about $17.00. Both are sturdy (so long as the seller ships the heavy duty 500 lb rated cane, that is). However, as far as I’m concerned there’s no question that the Nova is the cane to buy unless you really need to be able to fold your cane.
