For the longest time, I had one of those shag rugs that kept shedding! I was so fed up with vacuuming it. And washing or cleaning it made it feel not as soft anymore. But I refused to toss it out because it was $450. I finally gave in and ordered this one to replace the shaggy one. So glad that I did. This was so cheap and it ended up looking really nice in my living room! It was well made and light enough for me to lug around by myself. After unrolling, the corners tend to curl up. I resolved this by putting heavy objects like an ottoman, a laundry detergent bottle, boxes at each corner for a day. After that, it's been sitting nicely flat on the ground. Doesn't slide around where I need those rug grippers. But it might also be because I have a coffee table in the center. It isn't soft, but not rough. Generally, we are very happy with the look and feel of the rug. The biggest problem is that it holds rainwater like a sponge. After a rain, it takes 2 to 3 days, depending on the sun, to dry out enough to walk barefoot on it. You can speed up the problem by using a carpet cleaner vacuum to remove the excess water. When dry, it vacuums up nicely. We recommend this product for indoor or covered porch/deck applications. If you want a rug that drys quickly, stick to the plastic straw types that are the most common sold but don’t have as luxurious of a feel. ... show more

We needed a new 9x12 area rug for the living room and this was more affordable than most I had found. I didn’t want a flashy pattern, just something neutral and simple. It is a low pile and slightly thin rug, but it fit our needs just fine.

I bought 3 rugs. 10 foot runner, 4x5 and 6x8. Blue green. One rug is a different dye lot, I got over it quickly but it's different. I like them and recommend them as long as you know what you're getting. They are thin, somewhat soft and very pretty. They are not going to soften the blow of a hard floor on your feet. At all. The corners have a tendency to curl up, but lay back down quickly when pressed on. I just want to protect my too light carpet and look pretty with my curtains and bedspread. This did the trick perfectly. I'm very happy. The runner slides a few inches on my carpet. Since these carpets are light it's nothing to give it a pull back where I want it. My carpets arrived in great condition. No holes, tears or pulled pieces. No odor. I did order all 3 separately, as they each arrived, ordering the next one. ... show more
