Cheap plastic. No idea why it got so many stars. It was terrible. Wouldn't crush the ice. Just mixed it around and around and took the edges off. Would be good as a stone tumbler, but definitely not a good blender or margarita machine.

This cool nostalgia looking margarita blender appears to be the perfect addition to any Taco Tuesday night or for entertaining a small group of friends in general, but unfortunately this product does not perform as advertised. It can barely chop up ice and the main container leaks everywhere. Do not waste your money. It’s poorly made and operates like a cheap toy blender. You would be better off using an old school blender bought at a yard sale since this product is so poorly made. It looks cool, but does not perform well and gets only one star due to poor performance and due to the fact that it leaks. I’m attempting to get a refund and return the product to the merchant. I will update this review after that process is complete. I’m updating my review by adding a few more stars to my rating for the company’s excellent customer service. They immediately provided a full refund upon request and made the return process super easy. I appreciate that in a company. I’d give them 5 stars for their excellent customer service but still would not recommend this product to anyone. ... show more

I just needed a new blender and wanted a larger size pitcher which also had a spout. 64 oz was the larger size I could find THIS blender was also the cheaper for that size. I only wanted it to blend my powdered Kale shake with almond milk. Job done, nothing fancy. But wow!! This blender has amazing blades that I swear could chew rocks. it is meant for margaritas so ice in this is blending is nothing. Its fast, not too loud. Two things that kind of bug me: One the lid seems backwards. My husband said think of it as a hat worn backwards and you will remember. That is what it seems there is a lip for lifting the top off. Maybe being the back is the margarita way but seems backwards to me. Two: The spout is the opposite to any normal on off tap. Normally a level will cross a pipe horizontal which is left and right. Across the pipe is OFF/CLOSED. Not in this case. The lever/spout up and down which is closed. Turning cross wises is open. I spill more smoothie because of that. One day I will remember. Compared to the performance of this blender those two things are nothing. Just pilot error more than anything. This blender also came with a really nice case for taking to parties. My original plan of just using it for my powdered smoothie in milk has totally changed. This can do so much why waste that!! ... show more
