Bottom line - I like the popcorn, ease of use, and flavor. I've tried two different popcorn packs for our popcorn popper. Previously I dabbled in using my own coconut oil for popcorn, but the delicious flavor of artificial butter wasn't really there. I have tried this and another popcorn and it's worlds of difference, and I won't be going back willingly. I love the ease of use of squeezing an unnatural yellow goo into the popcorn maker and watching it melt into a shimmering golden pool of oil before I add the popcorn and salt. The corn seems to pop up well every time and not leave behind many kernels. The only drawback to these pre-measured packs is that they give you enough salt to satisfy even the most extreme salt-loving tastes (like my son). For me adding the entire pack's worth is too much, and there's not a great way to measure how much to put in. It's a small gripe, and admittedly I haven't done anything to try to lessen it - I keep dumping the entire amount in. I only notice in the 'salt mouth' I get after eating a couple servings and the amount of sodium flavor crystals left behind to clean up before popping a new batch. These popcorn packets have utterly spoiled us. We use them in our stovetop popcorn popper and it makes the perfect amount of popcorn for us. I've been very pleased with the low number of unpopped kernels. The batch we bought before this was another very well-known brand that matches my popper, but this Nostalgia brand is going to be my go-to from now on! This tastes just like movie-theater popcorn, only I don't have to deal with other people and I can make it any time I want. We'll definitely be buying more when this runs out. ... show more

As popcorn packs go this has been one of our favorites over the last 10 years, Tried many brands and this is the best so far. I did just order a case of 24 but one of Amazons talented mebers put one bag in the box with anothe item I ordered. Not sure how that happens but they took care of a credit for the purchase. I will say for us we dump out half the salt as it is too salty if you use all of it. ... show more

I read such amazing reviews for this so I got it, I will say it's super easy to use and popcorn comes out great but it's plain. If you like plain popcorn than this is for you! It comes with the little flavor shakers but they honestly don't have much flavor either. I ended up trying the Great Northern brand of popcorn that comes in the little tri packs and if you preferer buttery salted corn like me then I would recommend that. And when you break it down by batch price the other brand I mentioned is a little cheaper. I hate to knock this brand so much, It's nice popcorn! I just prefer more flavor. ... show more
