Very comfortable shoes. I have owned several pairs of shoes that cost $160. These shoes are just as comfortable and supportive as the expensive ones if not better. They are cushiony and seem to mild to you feet the more you wear them. The insole is not only really cushioned but does not rub your feet if you wear the shoes without socks. The sole of the shoe is formed in such a way that you experience a rolling motion when walking in them. The shoes are well made and do not look cheap. I purchased these shoes specifically to wear at a Vegas convention where I would be doing an absurd amount of walking from booth to booth— for two full days. Then, to rub it in, we would go out at night for food and shopping. Last year I spent hundred of dollars on a pair of shoes that did take the edge off my discomfort a bit, but not for the cost. This was my 9th year attending this convention and I was desperate to be free of the torture. I'll admit my feet have some issues—making this a tough case to solve. I won't go into the details of that. And shoes are tricky because I really don't know if they will be good for me until I put them to the test. When I saw these NORTIV 8 Women's Walking Shoes and read the glowing reviews, I figured I had nothing to loose. Turns out they are a gift from God. I'm not exaggerating. These shoes are amazing and I can't give them enough praise. I very rarely find a shoe that works for me. Here's the highlights: • Great for wide feet: And not only are my feet wide, but I have some other nerve stuff going on so I really need something supporting on the side without compressing the contents. • Lightweight and comfortable: Most times I forget I'm even wearing them—but I suppose that's how it should be. • Perfect arch and metatarsal support: I don't need a ton of support in the arch—and I found these shoes have just the right amount to avoid irritating the facia. • Good metatarsal support: This may sound the same as wide fit, but it's not. Sometimes I wear a metatarsal pad on my insoles to spread the bones in my foot instead of compressing them. That wasn't needed with these shoes. • Excellent value: What else can I say. These are considerably more affordable than others I invest in. I'm a dedicated fan now so I will have plenty of opportunity to discover more reasons I love this shoe and the NORTIV brand. Pleasantly surprised by the level of comfort these shoes provide! I had a minor foot surgery and for over a year couldn't find shoes that were comfortable enough for long walks. With the Nortiv 8, our Disneyland trip was extremely doable with walking from 7AM -11PM. Didn't ache and feet were well supported all day. I am glad I bought them instead of the other high end brand name I wanted. The high end brand didn't feel nearly as comfortable when I tried them on. Save your money and buy these instead. Comparison of the 2 styles of the NORTIV 8 I tried both styles. First the other ones had cloud like cushion but I needed to return due to needing a different size and receiving a pair of used shoes. I also didn't love the look of them. But they were so comfortable! Which brings me to these ones. I thought I should get the 1/2 size up, but these run larger. Also they are not as soft in the cushion as the others. So , I'm torn on whether or not I will return these.... I like the look better. They run larger and they are not the cloud like cushion that I loved about the first ones. Also these are pricier! ... show more

I’m a Brooks Glycerin GTS shoe user but the cost has been outrageous for new shoes. I work out 5 - 6 days a week with a lot of treadmill or elliptical use. Using the machine for 3 miles a day. I saw these advertised and I was very skeptical that I could replace my Brooks with these but they are 1/2 the price so I’m game. The shoes are fantastic. Very comfy and cushioned. I wore them today for my 3 mile treadmill walk and they felt great. I will say I wish I had gone1/2 size bigger than my Brooks but they are still very comfortable. I normally wear a 8.5 in Brooks and should have ordered a 9 in these my big toe skims the front. The toe box is wide enough for my foot the heel stays on my heel and the overall support feels good. I’m not a runner so I can’t comment on the foot strike but for walking long distances I would recommend them. ... show more

I hate buying shoes off line that I haven’t worn before or it’s from a new brand I’m not familiar with but out of desperation of finding shoes that supports my flat feet while working I purchased these . Now upon the try on out of the box LOVE LOVE LOVE the way they feel on my feet. They were so soft and light , but firm and comfortable I felt like I could stand for hours in them . Unfortunately as I continued wearing them during the work week the top of the shoe rubs against my pinky toe extremely badly. At first I thought I could ignore it because I wanted to love the shoe but as the day's went on it couldn’t be ignored because the pain was that bad . Ugh I feel so defeated right now because I thought I found a pair of shoes that were affordable, comfortable and supported my feet . I guess I needed more room at the top for my pinky toe so not necessarily a size up but maybe wider, so if you wear a women’s size 11 and you have wide feet you might have to sacrifice your pinky toe lol. ... show more

Great shoes. Better than Hokas. I work 12-hour shifts in a nursing home, and these shoes really hold up. They are very comfortable, with a wide toe box, just the right amount of cushion, and support. I will be ordering more.
