I'm an analytical biochemist and I needed a pair of mid-rise boots that cover my ankles for working in my laboratory, where I handle some hazardous materials and wanted extra splash-resistance. I was looking for boots that are lightweight, water resistant, have cushy soles and arch support, a generous toe box, and don't have ventilation holes (a mistake I've seen in other people's shoes if they have a chemical spill; holes are a prime route of exposure!). I was *also* looking for boots that were under ~$60 USD and had something stylish about them and weren't just plain black or brown. It was a tall order. I'm that type of person that doesn't generally trust some things on Amazon that have less than 1k ratings, like shoes, personal care products, things that go on my skin, and anything really that can affect my health or physical comfort, since I have lupus and very sensitive skin and joints. And I hadn't heard of this brand before. But I decided to give it a try and I'm so glad I did because these boots fit *all* of the things I was looking for! I've been wearing them all day every day at work for over a month, with walking and standing a lot, and my feet don't hurt and the arch support is really nice. The break-in time felt pretty minimal and they were really comfy right out of the box. They did start out with making a crinkly noise in the tongue/fabric part when walking, but that went away after I'd say 3 weeks as they were more broken in. They provide good ankle support to me and I have not felt like I'm going to roll an ankle, whether through my floppy joints doing floppy joint things and on some uneven terrain outdoors (I have not yet worn them for their intended purpose of actually hiking yet though, but they seem to be quite versatile!), but also aren't super stiff and restrictive. They aren't too heavy and drag my feet down. They feel durable, with no signs of quickly breaking down like I've had with a bunch of other shoes on Amazon that started out feeling great but wore out way too quickly. I also love the purple accents, and do wish there were more boots in this style with black and another color (like blue or green!). I was worried with them being water resistant/proof that I'd end up getting stinky sweaty feet, but so far so good. I wear cotton/poly/spandex blend socks that are designed for hiking or working, with some compression, extra cushioning, and moisture wicking properties, and I'd bet that helps too. I take my boots off in the garage when I get home at the end of a long day (before I come in the house so as not to transfer anything from the lab indoors) and my feet and socks are dry and not sweaty. They don't feel too hot during the day, but have stayed warm on a couple of times I've been out walking in chilly temperatures. Overall, I have literally zero complaints about these boots, which is such a rarity for me! Highly recommend!

Can I give these hiking boots a 10-star review? These are the most comfortable and stylish hiking boots I've owned. I travel often, and hiking boots are my go-to shoe over sneakers. They provide great support for my ankles and are not tight on my feet. I typically purchased brown hiking boots, but they are not girly enough for me. When I saw these, I had to try them. They will look so cute with a dress, skirt, shorts, or pants. They seem very sturdy with great traction on the bottom. They are easy to slip into and lace up. I highly recommend these boots.

Stylish, lightweight, and perfect fit. I own several shoes from this brand, all in different sizes as they run differently. For reference, I wear a 6.5 in running shoes, but tend to order a 7 in hiking boots. I ordered these in a 7 wide because I read they run narrow. They surprisingly fit perfectly with the perfect amount of extra space for adding insoles or thicker socks. I don’t even have wide feet, but I’m glad I took a chance on the wide option. They are firm around the ankles, but provide a lightweight option for summertime hikes, which is what I needed in my collection. I actually can feel the arch support as well. If you don’t wan to spend nearly $200 on hiking boots, these are a perfect alternative to more expensive brands.

These boots are 100% waterproof! I walked 2miles in deep snow in these and my feet were toasty warm without a hint of moisture!! I also sunk my leg 2x in waist deep snow and stepped into a rushing stream and still no water got in. High end quality! Comfortable! Water proof! Fantastic price!! An Amazon gem!!

These are so comfortable! I bought them to go hiking in and I loved them and now wear them everywhere! They have great traction for hiking. I didn’t have to “break them in”. They look super cute and are high quality at a fantastic price point. I was nervous to buy them thinking they may be “cheap” but they are now my favorite shoe I own. Buy these you won’t regret it! These shoes are so comfortable. I got 9 wide and it gives so much room in the toe area. However, I will be returning this shoe because it is sooo hot! I have only worn them inside the house and tried a cooling sock and a merino wool sock and my foot was just burning up in both. I bet it's great for winter weather but I intended to use these for summer hiking. They also make a constant crunching sound like it has crepe paper inside.

They do run small! I am a size 8 in sneakers and I had to return the first pair I purchased (8.5) because they were too tight and the size 9 still fit a bit tight but after breaking them in they felt better. I recommend sizing up a whole size if you plan on wearing thick socks. I wore Nike long socks for reference. As far as the quality, they kept my feet warm and dry. They are definitely waterproof as I took them hiking on a wet trail and my socks never got wet. Highly recommend!
