Bought these to replace a beloved pair of worn out Ariat chukka boots. I wear 11.5 or 12 in footwear and bought these in 12s. Light-weight and comfortable boots, but not as comfy as the much more expensive Ariats. The laces seemed to short so I replaced them with some 55 inch ones. I dont expect these boots will last anywhere near as long as my Ariats, but but you cant beat the price. I'll update this post if they fall apart too soon . I will add that many folks complaining about any footwear not lasting should note that shoes are not meant to wear every day. You have to rotate your footwear!

Women have been buying men's shoes for a long time now specifically so we can get a wide, roomy toe box and a better fit all around without squishing our precious feet. These are affordable, they look great and after adding some cushioning under the heel and my Birkenstock high arch insert, these ankle boots fit me well and are very comfortable. They're made well, sturdy enough my dog walking and everyday needs and they're basic black which I wanted. I'm not one for buttons or zippers or ornaments on my shoes so these fit the bill perfectly. I can wear these every day of the year and with any outfit with ease. Great for country dances and skirts too. Well done. I'm going to purchase another pair.

Very impressed with these hiking boots, they were very comfortable and look like a pair of sperrys or dock martens which is what I was going for. With some jeans, they really look good. I can not speak on their durability because I have only worn them about 7 -8 times. They are pretty good for water walking, however water did splash over the boot and get inside, I did not try to get into a puddle to see how well the toe area did, but theyre water resistant for sure. They run a little big so dont be afraid to go down a half size, unless youre going to wearing thick shocks.

Fits Just Right, so far they are cool in the summer, warm in the winter. I Used them on deep ocean fishing trip and they cleaned up easily. Walk about 4 miles daily in them and they’re still in good shape. Better in my expert opinion than Timberland, Columbia, & North Faces. Give them a try. Peace

Bought My Second Pair! I’m a big guy! 390lbs, 6’1, Size 14/15W. I also work in active construction. This is only important because I take my boots on and off dozens of times a day at work, going between homes under construction, and finished homes for warranties. Like most guys in the trades, finding decent boots suck but for me, I compromise! These boots are $40! My first pair lasted 8 months. For me, I’d rather buy these every 8 months than spend $300 on a “good” pair of boots and only get a year out of them. The things I like: - You can wear these out of the box on day one, no break in period needed. - They have a large toe box. Great for wide feet! - The waterproofing is actually decent. We hiked Providence Canyon in Georgia last winter in the snow. Daily, I walking through sprinklers to check irrigation, the water proofing lasted well! - The speed loops. We don’t wear our boots in finished homes, we wear our socks. Getting boots on and off can suck but not these. The speed loops make it super easy to unhook the top loops and step right out of the boots. Reasons I bought a new pair: - The water proofing was starting to fail, and no one likes wet socks. - Some of the side stitching started to fail. - The pull strap on the back tore. This is directly related to how many times I take my boots. - I stepped on a ring shank nail. You can see the hole in the photos. Thing is, it didn’t go through all the way. I’m not saying that’s what these boots are designed for (maybe I’m just lucky) but the hole isn’t water tight so here we are. - The foam midsole were starting to compress. This has nothing to do with the boot and everything to do with my weight. All in all, $40 for 8 months is $5 a month. For me, this is great buy for a cost conscious trades person for every day use. And an exceptional buy for the weekend hikers!

Top notch quality. Built well, comfortable, warm, wide toe box. I use them for work as a service advisor. They're dressy enough to be presentable with a pair of khakis and button down but slip proof and waterproof enough to wear around the shop and lot. Really love these I have 3 pairs now in different colors
