  • Comfortable, non-slip, good arch support.
Size: 9.5 Wide Color: All Black-suede
UPDATE: We've had a lot of rain the past few days (flash flood warnings and everything), and even after stepping through water over 2 inches deep, my feet and socks are dry as a bone. I am very impressed with the waterproof aspect of these boots. == == == == == I like a lot of arch and ankle support in my boots, and these check both boxes. They have just enough stiffness around the ankle to keep my feet from rolling side-to-side, and plenty of arch support so I don't pronate as badly as I'm prone to do. The sizing is right on. I wear a 9-1/2 in everything, and the 9-1/2 fits just right. I usually go for a wider width, and these are plenty comfortable. They have good quality too. One thing I always look at on hiking boots is the lace hooks. Lower quality shoes will have sharp, unfinished edges that will cut through your laces in a matter of weeks. All of these (four on each boot) are smooth and after a few weeks of daily wear, I don't see any snags or cuts on the laces. That really impressed me. The grey and suede accents make them look really good, so I can wear them everywhere from the office to a night out with my wife to a hiking trail. I haven't been in a lot of rain, but they do seem to keep my feet dry, so I like that about them too. In summary, they look great, they feel great, they're versatile (not just for hiking), and the price is really good compared to similar shoes from other brands. I will see how long they last, but if it's even 6 months before any seams start showing wear, they're absolutely worth the price. ... show more

  • Held Up Great After Over a Year of Use—Only Minor Insole Issue
Size: 10 Wide Color: Olive-suede
I bought these boots back in August 2024, and after well over a year of regular use, I figured it was worth coming back to leave a review. I’ve used them for hiking, yard work, and everyday wear, and they’ve held up extremely well. The exterior still looks close to new—no holes, no separation, and no real signs of damage. Even the soles show only light wear, which is impressive considering how often I’ve worn them. The only issue I’ve run into is with the insoles. They’ve started to peel a bit, which is why I came back to look for replacements. It’s not a dealbreaker, but it’s worth noting. In terms of fit, these have been excellent for me. I wear a size 10 wide, and they fit perfectly. I used to stick with Keen boots, but I found their sizing to be inconsistent. These have been much more reliable in that regard. I can’t confidently speak to the waterproofing since I don’t recall putting them through consistently wet conditions, but for everything else, they’ve been rock solid. Overall, if you’re looking for a well-made, everyday boot that can handle a mix of activities, these are a great choice. The fact that I haven’t needed to replace them yet says a lot—and when I do, I’ll be buying another pair without hesitation. ... show more

  • Not Bad for the Price!
Size: 10.5 Color: Taupe-suede
Pretty good for the price! It was comfortable right away, great fit and decent quality. It got wet and there was no issue. Not overly heavy either. Color was as depicted. It did the trick for a "quick" trip to Alaska.

  • Rugged, Comfortable & Ready for Any Adventure
Size: 7.5 Color: Taupe-suede
These hiking boots exceeded my expectations! They are lightweight, comfortable right out of the box, and provide excellent ankle support on rough trails. The waterproof design kept my feet dry during wet conditions, and the grip is outstanding on both rocky and muddy terrain. The quality feels premium, especially for the price. I’ve worn them on long hikes and they remained comfortable all day with no blisters. If you’re looking for durable, reliable, and stylish hiking boots, these are an excellent choice. Highly recommended! ... show more

  • Great Boot, higher quality than price suggests
Size: 9.5 Color: Brown/Black/Tan
Great boot (especially for the price). They have exceeded my expectations. I own Crispi, Kenetrek and Zamberlain boots for hunting. These Nortiv boots are certainly not of that same quality, but they are better than boots I have paid 2-3x more for (Under Armour, Irish Setter, Danner). They are well built (good sole), comfortable, waterproof and appear to be made wider than all my other boots. The insole that comes with it is comfortable and I didn't need to swap them out for a better set. If you normally where a size 10, I would order these in a size 9.5. We will see how these hold up overtime, but for $50 you can't go wrong. ... show more

  • Great boot for the price
Size: 11 Color: Brown/Black/Tan
For the price they are a great 1 year boot depending on the amount of use I worked pest control this summer taking about 10-15k steps a day in the boots 3 days a week. They lasted through the summer and only until recently did they start to show wear on them. They lost a bit of water resistance and there’s some holes but for the price they were well worth it! ... show more

  • It's okay as a starter boot but even then you might find lacking.
Size: 8.5 Wide Color: Brown/Black/Tan
I'm going to give this 3 stars. It's taken me a while, due to procrastination, to set this review. They are comfortable and they feel durable. The reason I've taken two stars off is due to the fact that on my very first hike, on a very VERY chill path (Calvert Cliffs, look it up.) the metal prong at the very top row of the boot broke off? That hike involves no jumping, sliding, climbing, or anything. It broke at some point from the tension of the shoe lace.... Still really love the boots, have been hiking with them every other day and riding my motorcycle with them (don't ask) and they are holding up nicely (despite that one tab) ... show more

  • Loved these all black shoes for work
Size: 8 Color: All Black
Bought these for hiking. Thought I’d break them in at work first. Now I love them for work. They are light, comfortable and the high top guards the ankles perfectly. I love the quality and the rubber at the toe front. Water proof mesh and slip resistant. I will buy more for work and a different color for hiking. ... show more
