I am a solid size 8 women's (39EU, 9.5" so size 8 gives me an extra 0.2"). Size 8 women's is a size 6 in men's generally. You will need to follow the size chart that is in the photos to get your proper size for women's sizing. They sent me a 7 mens. Size 7 mens is a size 9 women's. Women's is always 2 numbers larger. This is a man's size shoe that is being used as unisex. That said, I want the nice wide toe box so I will try again. I sent the size 7 men's back and am getting a size 6 men's. Fingers crossed. The quality of this water shoe seems great. The comfort seems good as well. It does not have an aggressive hiking style tread although the sole is thicker than most water shoes. The top edge around your ankle is padded and won't cut into you when wearing, like a lot of water shoes do. If you want a nice water shoe that you can also wear around after playing in the water, this appears to fill the need.

I really liked these cushioned watershoes. They fit my feet like a glove and are very stylish. Especially around my toe area fit very naturally not narrow like most shoes. I can easily tie them. They have a string that I pull and a velcro tab.The water also does drain well. I only use them for water pool exercise however I notice that they can also be used to walk on different terrain/water. I can't comment on that since I do not use them for that but they are light for being shoes used for that purpose.

For 20 bucks you cannot go wrong. If you bought shoes like this down the shore you would pay markedly more. They fit great and are easy to put on and take off dry or wet. The Velcro is my fav as it’s so quick to strap on and they do not fall off. I walked in water on rocks on ground and dirt and I felt comfy the whole way. I have flat feet and these felt great. They look awesome and For the money they are a completely awesome buy and totally recommended. They are the slightest bit long but comfortably so. The fit in the back is great with the velcro strap and the sides and top just feel comfy and snug but not tight.

So, these shoes are comfortable both wet and dry, fit true to size, and after a week being worn in rough sandy and rocky terrain, no tears or rips. They protect your feet well from sharp rocks and even glass. The con is that if there is sand where you are swimming, it will get into the shoes and begin rubbing the soles of your feet, which is extremely uncomfortable. Be aware they are difficult to put on when wet and obviously are not actually easy to "swim" with, more for just water bathing at the beach or pool. Overall, i will likely continue to use them as garden shoes or water exercise, but not for a sandy beach.

The media could not be loaded. Here are the pros: These are water shoes that can easily and durably be used to backpack in. Got them wet, hiked in them, and used them as a daily walking shoe. Very versatile, very durable! I haven't had a stitch come loose or sole peal. The shock cord/draw string are great, along with the Velcro. Slip into them easily. Here are the negatives: really wouldn't count it as a negative, but cautionary. If you plan on wearing socks (cotton/wool) I would go a size larger at the least. These shoes (for me) were a perfect fit, but just enough room for your toes not to touch the front of the shoe. If you wear a nylon sock, you can get away with wearing your regular shoe size. It isn't often I'm this impressed with a product, but my experience, it passed with flying colors. Hope this helps!

I added a different insole with more heel support after flattening the original ones on a 7 day cruise, that said I prefer these over my body glove toe shoes which cost considerably more. I normally wear 7.5-8.5 I ordered a 7 based on actual foot measurement (in cm) using their chart, the shoes fit like a glove. Note: The wife loves hers, had no issues with the insole flattening. She weighs 30lbs less than I, for reference I'm 155. Lots of toe space even with the snug fit. Comfort is A++ with a new insole, wife loves hers the way they came, definitely better than most of the bargain water type shoes and the expensive ones as well. I've also tried $$ FILA skeletoes and several other brands, which I returned.

I got these on sale and they are really nice. They are super sturdy- not like some cheaply made water shoes. I feel like you could practically hike in these shoes.if you just had short walking to do to the water you could definitely just wear these and not bring an extra pair. I got two pairs one for me and one for my daughter for a trip we took.

I have ridiculously hard to fit feet. I am a woman with bunions. I wear an 8.5 or 9 size shoe in wide. It is so extremely difficult to find a shoe that fits my feet without pain. Usually within seconds of putting on a shoe I feel pain. I often have to resort to men's shoes in an extra wide (4e) to accommodate my bunions. I have been looking for outdoor shoes and every women's water shoe I have tried has been ridiculously tight on me. Came across these and thought I would give it a try. Wow. Never have I ever put on a pair of shoes that hugged my feet in such a comforting, non-pinching way like these. I did order a 7 and I think I'm going to exchange for a 6.5 as they do feel a bit long like I am walking in flippers, but wow. I couldn't pass up a chance to review these.
