They hold up well for a highly active 11 year old boy. They fit him well, and he says they are cool and comfortable. The material is lightweight, but sturdy.

These shorts are very lightweight and comfortable. They feel like swim trunks without the liner. All three pockets are zippered which is nice as items tend to fall out of my shorts pockets when sitting down. The single rear pocket is shallower than the two front pockets, but is still deep enough to just handle my Galaxy Note and fully zip closed. I'd recommend ordering a size larger as I normally wear a size XL and by their chart I should be an XL with my waist being 38" but I ordered a size XXL to be safe and am glad I did. I can't imagine I'd fit in the XL at all as the XXL is even a little more snug than I generally like my shorts. With as light as they are, I'm thinking these are going to feel great on upcoming 100 degree summer days here in the CA sun.

Overall, I really like these shorts. The fit feels just right for me, I'm about 6'2" 190lbs and the Large size fits great! I also really like that they have a zipper pocket to keep things from falling out. I can't tell you how many times I had my phone or wallet fall out of my gym shorts. The price isn't bad either, good value for under $30. Highly recommend these shorts!

They are the perfect length that is in style now and he looked great in them. My hud=s and wears a size medium and these mediums fit him perfect;y. Been washed a few times and color hasn’t faded and shape has held up fine. He wears them for working out and for running errands.

I really like these shorts they are really comfortable and lightweight. They fit good and are roomy and the shorts have zippered pockets which is nice to have, it's good for exercising or just everyday wear. The shorts sits just above your knees. Great shorts I would recommend these.
