I've been an active weightlifter for two decades now, and basically live in athleisure gear. I've spent money on the more expensive big name apparel, I've tried my luck with cheap budget gear, but these shorts absolutely stand out as the best I've ever owned. They aren't cheaply made and fall apart quickly (looking at you Adidas), they don't wrinkle horribly (looking at you Gymshark), and the price is more than right. The zipper pockets are functional and useful without being annoying or damaging to objects you have in them, the length is perfect (I dig the 5"), they have a good amount of stretch for workouts, and the waistband is comfortable without doing that annoying folding in half thing (looking at you again Gymshark). Stop looking around at other shorts and just order these already!

Perfect size, length, pocket size and fit. Very light weight. Others complained that they had no liner. These also did not and I did not expect one. I have never had gym shorts with a liner. Only swimwear has a liner. These were a great buy and I am very pleased with them.

I bought 3 pairs of Northyard's full-length athletic pants this winter and they are excellent. I just purchased these shorts and they fit great, look great, and are high quality. This company seems to have figured out how to put out a really nice product at a good price. I'm going to purchase a couple more pairs for spring and summer.

Comfortable, quick drying, true to size. Three zippered pockets for storing valuables and small reflective logos for more visibility at dawn/dusk. Front pockets are quite deep and if holding a mobile phone may peek out underneath the shorts when doing eg squats

The material is nice and comfortable, and the zip-up pockets are a great thing that I look for in shorts. My only problem with them is the crotch sits too low where if I stretch my legs, the shorts want to pull outward with my legs making them feel restricted

I wear these shorts as casual wear, during walks, hikes, HIIT, and weightlifting sessions. They are comfortable, don't cinch up, and are very lightweight. The reflective material is positioned well to catch light from vehicle headlights as long as your top isn't too long. I do have more expensive shorts and gravitate towards these each time I change for a more active day. I've not had any unusual wear and tear. At the end of the day, I love the value of these shorts and don't feel like I'm making an unreasonable purchase based on brand recognition or popularity votes. I'm a taller guy at 6'4 230 pounds. The 7" are perfect and my wife is happy that I'm able to get out of the board short phase due to my height without worrying about them being awkwardly short.
