These Northyard shorts are very good, in fact one of my favorite pairs of shorts in recent months, high quality and very comfortable. This is my second product from the company and I have nothing but good words for their products, and for a company that is fairly unknown, I am constantly impressed. The fit and finish is great too, I am 5.10'' and about 195Lb and I ordered size M, and that size fits me perfectly well and just how I prefer , not too loose or too tight. Due to the nature of the material used, those will not shrink as well even if you are drying them. Northyard is implementing some good quality features as well, the zippers are not YKK or Ideal but they are very good and have comfortable rubberized grips and work perfectly, all 3 pockets are zipper protected as well, they are deep enough and easy to access. The company is offering fsix different color options for these shorts and I personally went for the dark grey one, they look great and the color is not too bright or too muted, they are just right. The material is stretchy which means extra comfort when you are moving around and especially when you are sitting down for a longer period of time. The added reflective elements on the left and right side plus the logo, add some visibility if you are running in them at night. Overall, I really like these Northyard shorts and plan on wearing them a lot this summer.

Despite being athletic shorts, I am in no way athletic. However, I can't deny the comfort and casual style, so often these type of shorts are my go-to during summer when I am working around the house or just running some quick errands. I've tried a few pairs of Northyard shorts before...and no surprise, I find these to be pretty darn good, too! They come shipped in a nice plastic zipper bag, so they do feel somewhat better presented and protected than many other clothing items out there. As far as the listing; what you see is what you get. Plain athletic shorts with a drawstring waist, 3 zipper pockets and a small reflective style strip and brand logo. Also, I don't get to say this much about items these days but there's actually an improvement from the last pair I got...previously the zippers had traditional zipper pulls on them. This time they ditched the pulls and utilized rubber coated zipper heads. At first glance, this might not seem like much but inevitably with just about ALL garments I have with zipper pulls...they will eventually fall off during washing/drying. To be fair, the last pair of shorts were probably laundered a few dozen times before one of the pulls disappeared, but it did happen. This newer pair just skips that and gives you a more grippy and larger zipper to pull. In the long run, this is probably a better idea. The fit is as expected - comfortable with some room. Not too loose and not too tight. Nice lightweight material that can breathe and keep you cool on warmer days. It is an elastic waist as well and the drawstring is somewhat long, so I may just end up removing that. Either way, these shorts are comfortable and easy to wear. Recommended!

There are many things that I like about these shorts: 1) The elastic band is wide and strong so they hold up well even when I am carrying my phone. The tie gives extra security. The sizing was exactly as expected. 2) Really lightweight materials are used and stay dry even under the most intense workout or outdoor heat. 3) The legs are loose, but not too loose adding to the comfort and styling of wearing them. I like how they hang on my body. 4) Easy to care for and clean. 5) The prints are reflective giving visibility at night. 6) Pockets are each side and one back pocket…all are zippered if desired. The side pockets are deep and can easily hold my wallet, keys, and phone. 7) I like their color selection. Things I don’t like…nothing really other than the one time experience of it taking awhile from the time of order to time of delivery. It took 2 weeks. Once shipped, everything went quick. These are excellent gym/workout/leisure shorts. Easy for me to recommend.

I’m enjoying these. They are true to their sizing and sit well on my legs. The waistband feels equal parts stretchy and secure, so they aren’t cutting into my hips or bothering me yet I definitely don’t feel like they’re going to fall off, no matter what I’m doing with them. They also feel pretty breathable. Easy to stay cool in. All for a very reasonable price.

These are very sporty shorts and great for hit weather for they will keep you sweat free and cool throughout your day. The fabric is dri fit and super breathable plus lightweight. I would definitely recommend these shorts and my fiancé's in love with them. I could see gifting these out as well. They are super comfortable and they are a great value for your money. These are very high Quality shorts.

I have a kid that's tall and thin. This makes buying clothes difficult. He likes them to be longer on his legs. These shorts fit his desires. They are comfortable. He likes the secret zippered pocket. The length is good, and they don't fall off of him. They are breathable and lightweight. The color is very true to the photo description. They are elastic waistband. My model is 6" tall and weighs 120 lbs. The medium waist fits him well, not too tight, not too loose.
