I really love the quality of these NORTHYARD shorts. The material feels premium—lightweight, breathable, and super comfortable whether I’m working out or just relaxing. They fit well and move with you, and the zippered pockets are a big plus for keeping my phone and keys secure. Everything about them feels well made and thoughtfully designed. I’ve worn them on runs, hikes, and even just around the house, and they always feel great. That said, I do think the price is a little high compared to similar athletic shorts. I wish they were just a bit more affordable, especially if you’re trying to buy multiple pairs. Still, I can’t deny the quality—they’re just really nice shorts.

I wasn't initially sure if I liked these for the price, but I've been wearing them to the gym a lot lately and they fit great, look good, and they are comfortable. The material is thick enough so they aren't see-through, yet thin enough to be comfortable for gym workouts. I still think they are a little pricey, but I will buy more of them because I like the multiple zippered pockets. It's important that I don't lose my keys and earbud case while exercising.

Ordered multiple, right sized and good quality all-purpose short, swim trunk, slick polyester flagship material, lightweight and comfortable. Also has good zip pockets front and back. Good drawstring, well put together.

These shorts are super comfortable and fit very well. But I would say depending on the environment that you live in you might want to consider shorts made of a different material, high humidity environments (like most places in the Caribbean) they can get extremely sweaty after an hour or 2 of high intensity activities such as pickleball and start to stick to your legs. If you are indoors for example at the gym or basketball or anything of that nature indoors, they are great. It is the high humidity, high temperature, little breeze where they may get a touch uncomfortable. Overall, very solid shorts.

So, I recently started attending Pilates classes with my wife... yeah, go ahead and chuckle... it was new for me too! Honestly, one of my main concerns was wearing something comfortable but still clearly masculine—because, let's face it, some athletic shorts feel like they belong in ballet class rather than the gym. Thankfully, these NORTHYARD shorts really nailed it. Straight out of the package, they felt super lightweight but surprisingly durable. The quick-dry fabric works exactly as promised. Even after a full session of stretching and bending in ways I didn't think possible (ouch, by the way), I stayed cool, dry, and comfortable. They're flexible enough for Pilates but tough enough for basketball or hiking, if that's your thing. After wearing them once, I immediately went back online to snag another pair. That alone should tell you something. Great shorts, masculine style, solid quality, and perfect for guys stepping out of their comfort zone into Pilates studios everywhere. Highly recommend!

These are pretty much my favorite pairs of shorts now. I love the lightweight feel. The pockets are medium sized. Holds my iPhone Pro Max just fine, plus with zippers I don't have to worry about anything falling out of my pockets. I've used them for super long hikes. The elastic is comfortable and stretchy. In terms of durability, they've held up to a lot of washes and the only issue that I've had is that the zipper pulling clasp on the back pocket has come off of two pairs, but that's my least used pocket. I'm assuming it's come off from sitting, but not sure. Super great value. Will be buying more and highly recommend them.

I bought these for my boyfriend and he really likes them. They fit him comfortably and he wears them during cross-fit workouts. The thin material is durable and stands up to being washed almost every day after he does his workouts. The waistband is adjustable and is versatile enough for him to wear them when his weight goes up or down. All in all, they're a good value and I'm pleased with the purchase.
