I have been wearing prescription glasses, bifocals, for the last four years or so. The diopter for the close-range section of the lens is 4.00. While my prescription glasses are perfect, I don't like looking at a computer through them for long periods, as I have to tilt my head back to look through the bottom half of the lens. I needed readers. The problem is, the strongest diopter for over-the-counter readers offered at Dollar Tree and Walmart is something like 3.75. So I ordered these. I have no complaints. They do the job, and the price is a bargain. The real surprise was the packaging. Each pair came in a separate small zip-lock plastic baggie, and each was provided a separate cloth case. I bought these because they're so cheap, and I didn't expect this sort of care for something I bought for the disposability. The glasses are as good as any you'll get, and will accomplish what you need them to. They are, after all, not intended to be a fashion statement. What's puzzling to me is the people who wrote the one-star reviews for them. They're complaining about durability and how cheaply made they are. No kidding. That's what I bought them for, because they're cheap and I can buy a bunch of them, to spread them around the house. An optometrist will be happy to grind you a pair of readers, and you can pay for nice fashionable, indestructible frames. But why would you do that? I know I wouldn't. I used to buy multi-pak readers at Ross because I don’t want to buy prescription glasses I don’t need, and don’t want to spend $20-$30 for a single pair of generic readers at Walmart, Target, etc. Also, I like to keep several pairs around the house, available for travel as well, plus one of my dogs likes to steal and chomp these! So, I tend to go through a lot of these in six months. Ross stopped carrying this type of product and I am so glad to find on Amazon! These are a great value and better quality. Will order more.

Great quality at this price point. Sturdy and attractive with spring hinges. Five pairs for fifteen bucks is an excellent deal. If you're buying glasses for three dollars a pair it's understood they will have a limited life span. I'm good with that. Will buy again for sure.

These are a great set of basic reading glasses. They come with colored pouches that coordinate with the glasses. They're comfortable on my head and seem to have the right focus. What's not to love?

Vision very poor. I'm unable to read without correction. I can read with these glasses at 5 diopters.. lenses fall out and ear pieces fall off. They last maybe 4 to 6 weeks
