Bought this renewed. Came is good condition (a few minor scratches on the monitor but it's not new). Fast, everything works great! The only negatives I have to say are there's no speakers (which I knew by reading reviews so I just bought some) and there was sticky stuff on the monitor like something dripped on it that I had to clean off.     • Great computer, great monitor, however monitor has scratches and is not the one in the photo
I was using my old laptop for school, and gaming, and so it gradually deteriorated over time, it made loud noises when I was using the computer, and it couldn't handle a lot of the programs I was using. I purchased this computer and the speed is superb so far, the computer comes as advertised, however the monitor did not, it came with a NEC e222w MultiSync. Only problem is the wifi connection is kinda bad, but that's also just my wifi in general. Setup would of taken about 10 minutes if not for the monitor, which was jammed in a position, and it felt like you might break it if you pulled back, however we took the risk and I installed the computer very quickly after that. Some people say the audio/bluetooth don't work, however they work perfectly for me. ... show more

    • Problems right out of the box!!!
The price was right, but several things were not. First, right out the box the cd/dvd drive door would not open. Two of the rear USB ports didn't work. The keyboard had a broken key. Most irritating was the external wifi dongle they provided with the computer. It was totally not effective. Another reviewer noted that and suggested getting a good one. I purchased the Net gear AC600 from Staples and wifi works perfectly now. I opted not to contact the seller and have to repack and ship it across country. For another $ 150 I just got every thing fixed myself locally. Should not have to deal with these many issues right out the box! ... show more

That said, it is excellent for what it is. It's great to play old games - nothing new. Solitaire, MahJong, Age of Empires etc. is fine. It's great for movies and it's great for surfing the web. It's right there in the middle where it was a power house in its day, but with the innovations in processors and GPUs it got left behind. It worked great out of the box, there's not much room in the case to add much in the way of video cards. It's got 4 slots for DDR3 ram and comes with 4 gigs in each slot. ... show more

It was slower than I expected and I had a problem with my AOL. AOL support was able to help my problem, except for the speed, and mentioned that it is a 7 year old computer. I knew it was refurbished, but thought it was returned as initial failure or something like that, but never considered that it would be that old. Other than speed, it is working fine. ... show more

After reading other reviews I was a little nervous but then pleasantly surprised when I received my computer. It had everything included as advertised. There was a tiny scuff on the outside of the tower but everything works great and was easy to set up.
