This dress was beautiful, flattering, comfortable, and elegant. I’m a US size 12 and got a large. For the most part it fit perfectly, but it was snug on the butt area for me. If you’re between a 12-14 or you are large on the butt area then go for the XL. There is a built in underwear piece where the fabric on one side is gathered to connect to it that made getting the dress over my butt a challenge. This dress came with used XL Victoria’s Secret panties rolled up in the dress. The panties were used and filthy dirty. This is so disgusting and I read other similar reviews.

Do not downsize. I can wear a L/XL and ordered an XL in this and hoo boy…it was work to get it on. But after all the back rolls were in…it looked like a million bucks. Lol. Slimming right on down to the ankles- I am 5’6” 189 and I am gonna look sooo hot in it! One more thing- you are not going to get this off to go to the bathroom, so be prepared- you will have to hike it up and situate the leg hole just right. The good news is it is fitted like a panty not a boxer brief…if that makes sense, the leg hole appears to be pretty stretchy otherwise you would literally have to hold it. Btw saw this same dress listed for sale at a local retailer for twice the price. Oh and also my husband had to help me pull the back up which was terrifying- lol- but he stood back and said I looked beautiful in it.. Norma Kamali for the win!! ... show more

Really liked this dress but was a little bit too clingy for the event I was planning on wearing it too. Also it was a little more spendy than I liked so sadly I had to send it back. Good quality fabric and nice fit - although it had a body suit in it which was a surprise - don’t remember seeing it in the pictures (although if I’d read the reviews I would have seen it) ... show more

I had high hopes for the Norma Kamali Women's Diana Gown, but unfortunately, it didn't quite meet my expectations. The material was jersey-like and didn't appeal to me personally. While I can see how it might be flattering for others, it didn't flatter my figure as I had hoped. I purchased for a gala but didn't think the material would be appropriate for the occasion. Another issue I encountered was the length and asymmetrical design of the gown. It was longer on me than expected, which didn't suit my height or personal style preference. The asymmetry added a unique touch to the design, but it didn't translate well when worn. On a positive note, the gown arrived promptly and was well-packaged, and the construction seemed solid. The color was true to the images online, which was a plus. However, ultimately, the material and fit were not suitable for me. If you're considering this gown, I would suggest keeping in mind your body type and height. It might work beautifully for someone else, but unfortunately, it wasn't the right fit for me. ... show more

Absolutely gorgeous. The shimmer is INSANE. Fits beautifully and has built in shapewear. Heavy fabric so drapes beautifully. But you really cannot wear this to someone else’s event because you will steal the show

I love timeless Kamali, but there is complexity in this design, a body suit is inside the dress, and once you are in the Diana Gown you need to take time to accommodate the drapes. The final result is that it looks good, even tightens the tummy, BUT you can’t walk freely with it it, it is not that it is tight, but the design doesn’t facilitate the movement ... show more
