I originally bought this to make meatloaf in, was so tired of having to let my old pan soak overnight and still scrub it clean. This one is great! Beef hardly stuck at all, so much easier to wash. And then used it for making quick breads, nice to have them pop right out with ease!

Sometimes one just needs to bake bread in a regular sized loaf pan. So I treated myself to 2 new pans. I have many Nordic Ware Pans. Now I can dump the dough into a regular pan from my bread maker. Some of them are almost 50 years old and still working great. I always hand wash my bakeware and cookware. It lasts much longer, saving me much money. When I opened the package, I was struck by all the points and crevices of the pan, wondering if I would be able to turn out the cake without chunks left in the pan. Nordic Wear suggested using a spray with flour, then using a brush to make sure all the points and crevices were greased. I made a cranberry orange walnut bread and followed their directions for spraying and turning out the bread. It worked beautifully!     • Parchment paper with ears.
I take leftover parchment paper from cutting out circular inserts for my other pans and have leftover that I use with pan. I have enough left over that it draps over the sides of the pan. After baking is done, I simply lift the bread or cake up and out of the pan and put on a cooling rack - no fuss - no mess. The side walls I wash when pan has cooled down with a non-rough sponge and some soap and Voilà the pan is clean!!! ... show more
