this case is a beautiful color (dark purple) and very useful in how it folds and turns making it very flexible and comfortable to work with. however the power button and volume buttons are not the perfect fit. the power button is slightly too big but it’s not being held down by anything which is ok. and the volume buttons do not slide into the respective buttons in the case. i’ve tried using gravity to help but i don’t want to break anything, it just doesn’t fit perfectly. i’m not sure exactly where the misfit is, i’m suppose for this device the measurements would just need to be slightly altered. it’s not a big deal .. not as big as the price is for something not particularly tight but it is still very useful, nice quality, a bit weightier than i expected really and the lights on the keyboard actually don’t stay on the whole time you use it. it only stays on for about a minute so .. taking all that into account

The care has two little round pieces to hold the iPad in place. They are not large enough and my iPad falls out everytime I use it. I ended up using tape to keep it in the case.

When my Apple Smart Keyboard stopped working, I was so excited that I had found this. But after having it for about a month, I don’t think that it works well for what I need. I am a therapist - which means that I am constantly taking notes, checking emails, and responding to clients/colleagues emails/texts throughout the day. Here is what I’ve experienced: Pros: - I love how I can maneuver the iPad screen without turning the whole keyboard around (works well when I show videos to clients) - The color is beautiful and sturdy - The keyboard is easy to type on - Love the touchpad, but do not use it often - Holds the iPad securely Cons: - After a few minutes of not typing, the keyboard switches off or something and I’m having to turn the switch off and on again, or I’m repeatedly hitting keys to ‘wake it up’ before I can start typing. (A hassle when I need to jot down important things my clients say or make note of something quickly) - I never really can tell when the battery gets low. The low battery light comes on when I turn it on, and then goes off, so unless I turn it on and off, it’s a toss up. I like knowing how much ‘time’ I have before the battery dies. I don’t like having to get up in the middle of a client’s session to plug in my keyboard - especially if they are discussing something serious. This limits where I can use it because of it needing to be charged. (I charge it at night, but sometimes I have long days and never know how much battery is left). - Turning the keypad on and off is also something that I am getting used to. I am used to my old keyboard just automatically connecting and staying connected. - Sometimes the return key does not work and I cannot move on to the next line when typing - I have noticed that sometimes the touchscreen on my iPad starts to ‘lag’ and not work well. I turn the keyboard off and it goes back to normal functioning. I really want to like this keyboard! But I am finding myself getting more and more frustrated with it every day.

I owned a soft case with magnetic keyboard for the iPad Pro 12.9. It was fine. However, due to heavy use the keys on the keyboard started to pop off. I would either snap them back in, or superglue them carefully in place. It was very tedious. I purchased this case, and my Lord...it's amazing! I love the rotating head on it. It allows me to show photos easily to clients without having to clumsily reposition the iPad. The keyboard is ALWAYS there and available. it is very well made and the keyboard "feels" like a more expensive unit. The battery life is astounding. Some say that the weight of the iPad knocks the unit over...I have NOT found that to be the case. At NORMAL viewing angles, the keyboard and case stay in place just fine. I love that the Apple Pencil has a real home on this unit. It also will charge. The more expensive unit I've seen on Facebook has a sleeve for the pencil on the side of the case. Two things I find wrong with this is: 1. Pencil doesn't charge...2. Pencil can be lost. This case has a "home" that the pencil snaps into. PLUS it allows the pencil to magnetically adhere to the iPad as intended. Virtually impossible to lose your pencil! Also, the comapany stands by it's product for one year. They are very quick to respond and quickly fix any issues you might encounter. In fact...I'm pretty certain that if you had a problem with this case after the year, that they would fix or replace it for you. You cannot get better than that. Not in this day and age....So, go ahead...just BUY IT!!
