GaN chargers are small, but this 65W charger is about 1" shorter than the others. The brick itself can output 65W max and is split between the ports if more than one is used. The 140W ratingnmentioned in the listing is only for the included USB C cable. The USB C cable is rated for 140W, but is only capable of USB 2 transfer speeds. The charger also uses one chip to manage power to all the ports, so if you connect a new, or disconnect a USB device, all the connected devices will re-negotiate the connection. This means that charging will stop for a second and then resume. This may be annoying if you are using this to power a device without a battery such as a chromecast or travel router. I ordered this because I 1) have an old iPhone that runs out of battery quickly and takes longer to fully charge with a normal charger, and 2) often want to charge my Mac and iPhone at the same time. NOTE- This only comes with 1 charging cable, so you’ll need to use another cable you already have if you’re charging more than 1 device at once, but the cable it came with fits my Mac great, and I was able to charge both my Mac and phone at the same time faster than when I use their normal chargers. I would say they charge maybe 30-40% faster. I just wish this came with more than 1 cable. ... show more

    • Good Quality and Charges Fast
I compared this charger to the one I bought through Samsung when I got my phone. They both charge at the same speed. This one has 2 usb c ports which is great because I often wish I could charge 2 devices at the same time. I did notice when I added or removed a device that the other device that was charging would act as if it was removed and re connected. I needed something that would accommodate several USB inputs but that wouldn't take up a lot of space. I wanted to plug it into a surge protector, so it needed to fit between the other plugs. This will do nicely.

This thing is literally a solid brick. It has good weight on it and feels so well built. Even the usb c cable that was included felt of high quality. It charges fast especially when only using one port but still good when using multiple. It’s a bit pricey compared to others I’ve bought but the quality is there. ... show more

    • Measured maximum output at 62.5 watts, very warm under full load.
The media could not be loaded. I measured the maximum power output at 62.5 watts, which is very close to the rated 65 watt maximum. (It is always possible my USB power meter is off by a little bit). I could only test the provided "140 watt" USB-C PD cable at the 62.5 watt maximum that the power brick puts out, but it wasn't getting unusually hot so it can probably handle more current. The charger correctly split power (45 watts for the first USB-C PD port, reserving 20 watts for the other ports) when I added my phone to the 2nd port. The device got quite warm to the touch after 15 minutes of full power draw. Not enough to burn, but enough that you wouldn't want it touching you all the time. (Luckily, it plugs into an outlet and should have plenty of air flow around it). It does what it claims, so your only real decision will be if the $40 price point is what you want to pay for a 3 port 65W USB-C Power Delivery charger. ... show more

This usb charger is very convenient. I use it mainly for travel/business. I don't have to carry different charger for my phone and laptop, etc. All I need is just one now. I tested on both of my phone and my MBP13". I got around 23w max on my Samsung phone and around 53w max on the MBP13"( see screenshot). I'm satisfied with the laptop charging speed even though it didn't get to full 65w. It is more than enough for my daily usage. Pros: - high quality material. It feels really good on hand. With decent weight. - fast charging for phone . I got 23w max on my s22+ - upto 53w on macbook pro 13(any usbc port) - small and compact design - aluminum body - Foldable plug - great design with quality/details. - high quality usb c cable Cons: - didn't get the full 65w when charging my MBP, but not a big deal to me since it is more than enough for regular usage. - nothing really to complain at this moment since I am very satisfied with this charger.     • This is a quality charger!
This is a real deal 65W usb C charger. You pick it up and you and feel the weight and quality build. It is serious. You can plug multiple usb's in at the same time without issue. It comes with a high quality usc C cord. GaN chargers are physically smaller than current chargers. This is because gallium nitride chargers don't require as many components as silicon chargers. The material is able to conduct far higher voltages over time than silicon. GaN chargers are more efficient at transferring current, so less energy is lost to heat. I know what your saying... yeah but for 40 bucks? Let me say, you get what you pay for. This is a primum item and you will not be disappointed. This is the one you want. Positives: - Multiple USB c and A ports (3) - GaN technology - high quality - comes with high quality usb-c cord -super fast charge @ 65 watt Negatives: - relatively expensive Bite the bullet and get this, will not regret it.
