  • M updated my review...
Number of Items: 213252
Update June 16, 2025 After reading my review Actekart reached out to me. They were concerned that I was not pleased with the product. They worked hard to address my disappointment by offering a replacement and some additional tips on using the product. After trying the replacement I am confident in saying that the original product I had was most likely defective as it never produced the amount of air pressure that this replacement does, even with the control knob all the way to maximum. After testing the replacement and using the additional tips from Actekart, the item worked great. I am happy to change my review from 3 stars to 5 stars. The Actekart service people were great. If you have this item or thinking about getting this item and/or having issues definitely don't hesitate to contact them. Thank you Actekart. Disclaimer... I was not asked, paid or tricked into updating my review to 5 stars, this is my own experience and opinion of the product after using it. Because of health reasons my review of this item is late... Item arrived undamaged. Read over the instructions and charged the unit. Charging was easy using the included cable. I am unsure about the battery life because I didn't use it that long. Did the water test as per instructions. The water sprayed fine. Once I tried to use pigment or primer, no matter how much I thinned it, one of three things would happen... either it wouldn't spray or very little pigment came out or it would spray out globs. I'm no stranger to thinning paints but no matter how I tried I could not get this to work as advertised. I only had success spraying water. Yes, the knob was turned to max, pigment was thinned. Sometime without pressing the button, pigment would squirt out all over the table. I was hoping this was going to be a good replacement when I wasn’t physically up to taking out my compressor and standard airbrush, but this has been a terrible experience. Maybe I received a bad unit or something, because at times it didn't feel like a lot of air pressure was coming out even with the dial on max. I regret that because of my health it took me so long to actually test it because it is too late now to request a replacement and try again. I am not happy with this purchase, for what this cost I had hoped it was be a great edition to my hobby painting. I still gave it 3 stars as it is a great concept, but I cannot recommend this item. If it worked for you that's great, but it didn't work for me. ... show more

  • Life saver!!!
Number of Items: 213252
Absolutely AMAZING!! This item saved the day for me at an event! I am extremely impressed by the quality and battery life!m; it charges fast as well! Comes with a lot of needles, wish it had more bottles but does have a starter amount. I used it for airbrush makeup and this thing saved the day. I would say it is good value for the money but I got a sale price. I want to add more to my collection so I’m going to wait for more deals or if the seller would like to gift me or give me deals for more reviews I would be more than happy to do so because this baby is impressive! It is simple to use. Tips: So, I saw a few reviews showing how theirs did not work, I can’t be the only one with a good gun so maybe here is the issue: if the needle is not in the proper place, it will not work at all. It needs to sit inside of the needle resting position, you can give it a little click with your nail to make sure it’s settled. If your paint is too thick, it will clog the needle, you need the right size needle with the right consistency of fluid. Also, make sure the needle is not clogged with gunk. Shaking does cause buildup so you can shake then open lid to allow a little pressure out and then close it back up before applying to gun. The gun have several pressures, the first pressure usually spits and splatters so make sure to test the consistency first. If there is gunk on the gun or outside nozzle it will cause spitting at any pressure, so clean the nozzle. I highly recommend this gun! I have been using airbrush equipment for about 20 years, this is a game changer. ... show more

  • Great Concept, But Not Reliable for Professional Use
Number of Items: 213252
I really wanted to love these. The idea is fantastic—a lightweight, cordless option for small airbrush gigs without hauling a full kit with compressor and manifolds. Unfortunately, in practice, they didn’t hold up. I tested this kit (and the other version from the same brand) during a 4-hour airbrush face painting event. I had to keep swapping out the disposable tips just to keep the paint flowing. Sometimes it wouldn’t spray at all—other times it would overspray wildly, even with the smallest adjustments. I used properly thinned paints that work perfectly in my professional setup. Everything was pre-filtered through a fine mesh to avoid clogs, as we always do. Despite this, I couldn’t get consistent performance. It’s a great idea, but the execution just isn’t there for professional use. Disappointing. ... show more

  • Sprays Clear Lacquer really great for small projects.
Number of Items: 213252
I am a Laser operator and at this time of year I am busy making Christmas ornaments about 3.5 - 4". I was looking for a different way to put a clear lacquer on the back. So this review is strictly about using clear lacquer. I have found this product works really good after a bit of learning. The biggest hurdle was getting the lacquer to the right thinning. After about 6 different uses of it I have found that ( I use Minwax lacquer) I need to get a good spray it needs to be diluted to 60% lacquer thinner. If you think its thinned right you probably need more. So don't fill the bottle up full at the start. I have found using plastic pippets works well adding lacquer thinner. I have a small glass jar that I pour the thinner in and draw the thinner from. I also use another glass jar with lacquer thinner in it to clean the tips. I will use compress air to blow the tip open after soaking. I also found using 24 or 26 gauge wire to push through the tip to make sure it is open completely even with new tips I run the wire through it. I have also a couple of times when the spraying was starting to sputter a bit to clean the tip with the wire. The gun was not charged at all and it did take 5 hours to charge. It has a led light showing percentage charged which I like. I sprayed 24 ornaments (first coat) using one bottle and only used 10% power. So I can a lot done without using much power. I found that when spraying the lacquer it worked best using the trigger button just like using a spray can meaning letting go of the trigger does not work good keeping the trigger pulled continuous. Small burst and I am about 3 maybe 4 inches away. I will get a nice buildup layer going in one direction and then back in a different direction. It dries really fast s light buff to smooth and do the second coat. Very happy with the results. I used the largest tip which is green and is .5mm The tip just set down it don't lock it place just push it down. I will get a few droplets when I first start spraying . At the end if your looking to spray clear lacquer it works really great but you would not use it for a large project. Power is good and battery life is good. Cant say anything about using paints have not use it that way. ... show more

  • Decent airbrush for large areas
Number of Items: 213252
I watched a review on YouTube and decided to try this one. I've been using airbrushes for over 45 years, and I already own five different ones, but all of my older ones require more time to clean than they spend actually painting. I use them mostly for painting model cars, and this one is fine for that purpose. The spray pattern is fairly broad, however, and would not work for painting small areas on a large model without masking. The most important step in using this airbrush is thinning the paint, as it needs to be thinner than some other airbrushes. And while you don't need to clean the airbrush, if you want to use the bottles for a different color, cleaning the bottles is not so easy. I spray mostly enamels, and to clean the bottle thoroughly I had to use some large test tube brushes, and then soak the bottle in a degreaser like Purple Power or Super Clean to fully remove the remaining paint. On the other hand, if you use the particular color frequently, you can seal the bottle and reuse the paint often. The airbrush comes with plenty of needles (which also can be cleaned if necessary), and you can order additional bottles and needles, at a price. This one won't replace my other asirbrushes, but it will be used a lot for certain tasks. ... show more

  • Best for folks who have trouble with other air brushes....
Number of Items: 213252
Great value. Easy to use to prime miniatures. You could have your entire army primed in one day. I would then go with speed paint over the top of a nice zenithal highlight. Your army will look good. The Miniature below is one I painted using a prime with a zenithal highlight and speed paint. It was fast and good enough for the table. All my other air brushes no matter if they are cheap or expensive, I always clog them up and they break. I know it is my fault but other air brushes are just too difficult to us. This one rocks. I did drop it and brake the charging port off the side. I was using it plugged in because it runs while charging ( which is another bonus really). Get some air bush thinner and go for it!!! I am getting another one to replace the one I broke (like a dufus) but these get the job done.... ... show more

  • The Battery Charging Problem
Number of Items: 213252
I'm giving this 3 stars so that it hopefully gets noticed by others. The product itself is fine, and is a great solution if you're doing airbrush tattoos or other things of the like. Many have commented on how it doesn't charge fully, or won't go past a certain percentage. I purchased 2 with the intent to check how it works, and one charged fully with the USB cable that it came with. So with that in mind, this product's issue might be the USB cable which is packaged with it rather than the unit itself. Beyond that, the air pressure is a tad inconsistent, even when dialed into the same setting as previous uses. ... show more

  • Doesn't operate as pictured.
Number of Items: 213252
The paint does not come out of this airbrush unless you squeeze the bottle to push the paint out. If you squeeze the bottle, it seems to work just fine, but it means it takes both hands to operate, and the hand cramping is real.
