My husband will be the last guy you see using any type of facial products, lotion, creme, etc. but he absolutely loves this and has even asked for more. There is hardly any scent, which was a huge plus. What you CAN smell is very light and very fresh. Nothing fake about it. I bought it for him Christmas 2021 and he shaves perhaps once or twice a week. This bottle has lasted him the whole year and he's just starting to run out. A little bit goes a long way, so if you're deterred by the price, just know that it's well worth the money and will last a super long time.

I use a non-lubricating single blade safety razor, and this lotion is the first manufactured lotion that does not sting my face after shaving. I only have to use about a pea-size as more starts to feel greasy, but that just means it will last longer :)

I discovered Marlowe in a ranking of after shave products. It works great. The product feels clean, not oily and it mosturizes well. My skin isn't ultra dry, but shaving daily can dry it out. The scent is nice and clean, not over powering or perfume like. After a week of use, my skin feels good. I recommend it.

I recently started shaving with a straight razor and it was leaving my skin extra irritated after the shave. Coupled with standard aftershave, my skin was excessively dry and was peeling within a day. Tried out this aftershave lotion and not only was the skin irritation all but eliminated, but the drying and peeling was taken care of as well.

It has good smell but it feels watered down

I have been through many aftershaves trying to find the best one. I'm not sure I can mention other brands in reviews but I have tried all the most expensive ones like Aveda and Origins etc. This one provides non-greasy moisturizer and stops razer bumps. It has a nice scent when you first put it on and then goes away within an hour which is great if you're prone to headaches from smells etc.
