My hair (if you ignore the grays that are creeping in) is just a shade or two off of black and darker than dark brown. I think this brown black matched perfectly! I have thicker hair, so I could probably use another piece or two to bulk up consistently, but this is an ample amount for most. I do need to trim the hair a little to help it blend better with my current cut, but I think it looks quite nice. This is pretty decent for synthetic hair. It has a bit of that clumpy, wet look at first, but you can comb it out and get it to separate a bit for a more natural look. Take note I only put the pieces in twice before taking the one photo, where you'll notice one of the clips was pulling loose from the hair. This is something I can sew/fix, but disappointing. I was pleasantly surprised by the comb and the clip that came with this product. I wish it had a second one of the clips. ... show more

Unfortunately, the photo makes the hair look a bit fake. In real life the hair looks much more realistic and it's very soft.     • Decent Hair Quality; 2 Clip Pieces Don't Stay In Well

I'm surprised at how much synthetic hair resembles real hair. Visually, it's identical. By touch, it's a little bit too smooth to be real hair, but not blatantly fake. While there's no information about how to position the four pieces, I'm assuming that the ones with three and four clips should be layered in back, and the smaller pieces with two clips go on the sides. Regardless of positioning, the pieces with two clips just don't stay in well. As soon as you brush your hair, even gently, they pull out. I also bought a set of clip in hair on Amazon that consisted of four similar pieces, plus two additional small ones, as well as a few additional "accessories", for about 20% *less*. I would buy two sets of those, so I would have a piece with three clips for each side. The overall cost would be a little higher than either set by itself, but you wouldn't have to deal with the pieces with two clips sliding around out you brush. ... show more

This synthetic hair set is very full and has a good weight for only four pieces. The length is the full 20 inches and does not thin out considerably at the ends like human hair does (hard to find human hair this long and full). The mid-section has little to no flyaways and short pieces. Generally, synthetic hair can look a lot better than human hair in these long lengths in those aspects. The color of this one leaves a little to be desired. Blonde is too mono-toned and needs a bit more mix to look natural and the blonde has a bit too much of a gray tone. However, as you are using it to supplement your existing hair, it should add quite a bit of highlight, and the coloring will not really matter once mixed in. Overall, a nice thick piece that is of very nice quality. Bonus - comes with a hair separator clip and a wide-tooth comb. ... show more

This hair is thick and arrived with now smell. It was soft to touch and surprisingly straightens well. I love how I was able to blend it with my hair but also it blended well with other clip ins I have that are 100% human hair.
