The media could not be loaded. The SysTech S2 mini drone comes complete in a very compact box. I was not expecting much from something contained in such a tiny box. Inside the box you get spare props, two batteries and a mini-USB charge cable. The charger is built into each battery and a red light turns on while the battery is charging. My battery took about an hour to fully charge. Each blade of the drone (or quad) has a protective cage around it, so flying this in the house does not cause any issue. The drone itself appears to have 4 or 5 sensors, one on each side of the drone and one on the bottom. The battery locks into place and appears to have an additional sensor or an emitter used by the sensor on the bottom of the drone itself. Flying the drone is pretty simple. You turn it on after inserting the battery by pressing a button on the top. Then turn on the transmitter. To get the transmitter to connect you slowly move the left throttle stick fully forward then all the way back down. Once you do this you will see the drone lights stop blinking and you are ready for flight. To take off you have two options. One is to just hit the one button takeoff button which will cause the drone to leap into the air about three feet or push both sticks diagonally at the same time and the blades will start to slowly rotate. You can rotate the drone, make it fly forward and back as well as gain altitude very quickly! A really nice feature is the ability to adjust (or trim) the motors for any drift you may encounter. The way you do this is to press the right stick down toward the controller. You will hear the controller beep. Then just move the same right stick in the direction you want to trim. You want to “bump it” one or more times in that direction until the drone stops drifting. After a second or two of no activity, the stick will return to normal control operation. On the front of the transmitter are two buttons. One will allow you to do tricks by clicking it and then pressing the right stick in the direction you wish to flip the drone. The other button adjusts the response time for how fast you wish the drone to respond to your stick movements. The drone can only manage very light breezes outside, so it is primarily an inside drone. You can see how it flies outdoors in my video. A “pro-tip” would be this: If you have a mishap and your drone crashes, and you have adjusted the trim, do not panic if you go to take off the next time and the drone jumps immediately in a direction. Chances are the trim is just off based on your last flying condition. To cure this, remove the battery, wait about 30 seconds, then re-install it. If that does not reset the trim adjustments you made, start your drone instead by the “stick method.” Then while the blades are just slowly spinning, adjust your trim in the opposite direction to fix your flight, and your drone will again fly correctly. This happened to me on one of the first flights outdoors and I discovered this solution. I would recommend this drone for beginner to intermediate fliers. ... show more
