These balls are good if there is at least some level of protective gear. We play cricket on a baseball pitch and this ball is far too bouncy (comes up to the head from a good length) on it. It's a lot better on concrete but still very heavy and can seriously injure someone if hit on the head or fingers without protection. That aside, the ball is very very fun to play with on concrete if helmets are used (or if only slow/spin bowling is done). The feeling on the bat is perfect and it is easy to grip for a bowler. It's also possible to extract good turn from the ball. Durability is top class. To sum it up, don't buy this if you're planning to play without protection with fast bowling. I would recommend something under 100 grams for that. Vicky's lighter balls are very good but pretty much unavailable in the US. I have a pure white down parka. To dry it, manufacturer suggests placing in a dryer with tennis balls so it remains puffy. Do you know how difficult it is to find white tennis balls (very difficult). These worked beautifully, particularly because they are heavier than tennis balls. They do have black writing on them, and I didn’t want that to transfer to my coat, so I placed each one in a white sock to insure the writing wouldn’t bleed. Although the order was shipped ahead of the promise data but these were not original heavy tennis balls as I was expecting. The weight per ball is less as compared to regular heavy tennis balls that I have seen and used while playing cricket. Not satisfied with this order.

This is an excellent product. I used it to play cricket with my grandson during his Christmas holidays. We played for an hour each day, for 10 days. The ball is heavier than a tennis ball and is very enjoyable to play with.

I usually order the rubberized cricket balls to play fetch with my dogs (2 large breed Mastiffs). I do this through Amazon, so in my last order, I just repeated my previous order from the order history. When I received my package, I noticed that the weight of the balls was lighter. Also when I played fetch with my dogs, they destroyed the ball within an hour. They would usually eat through the balls over a 3 week period. From the destroyed balls, I noticed a thinner rubberized interior. I noticed the lighter weight when I attached the ball to the throwing device. I've ordered these balls numerous times but I'm reluctant to re-order as Im not sure what Ill receive. Extremely disappointed ... show more
