This kit for cleaning up after dogs is even better than I expected. The tool ends are all made of sturdy steel with rust proof coating. It also includes a third spade tool that isn't usually in these kits. It's cool that you can choose which length handle you want for each tool depending on your height. What wasn't initially obvious until closer inspection: the handle parts come in 3 separate bags (each one includes the 3 handle pieces you will need for any of the given tool ends). Those bags are actually marked with the measurements on the outside (in cm). However, the handle tubes in any bag are compatible with those in the other 2 bags, so you can actually mix and match to get even more customized lengths. There is a specific piece needed for the bottom, middle and handle end of each once assembled, which is why it's good to know that each bag includes a full set by measurement instead of pulling everything out all at once to assemble. This is pretty obvious but the tube with the green cap on the end is meant to be the bottom piece that fits into the tool end. Once assembled, the handles are lightweight so the overall tools aren't too heavy but are still sturdy. Everything locks into place and they aren't wobbly when finished. This is a nice, small poop scooper. (My prior scoop had 3-4 times the capacity.) My first impression was poor, as the pieces were difficult to fit together. However, after I got the tight ones in, it turned out to be a nice, sturdy scoop, and I gave it a four star rating. I wanted metal, as my plastic one has broken after a few years. After 10 days, this scoop is already rusting near at least one push button. This bodes ill for the longevity of the product, and I have dropped my rating to 3 stars This is best for a small dog, but very sturdy. It has a rake and a hoe so you have the option of either. It does hold enough to be useful for a big dog too, although I would probably purchase a larger size. ... show more

Seriously, who would think I'd be writing a rave review about a pooper scooper but here I am. First off, the whole set up is nice. The handles are light weight, snap together easily. They can also all connect together to making stowing them a breeze without them taking over and losing one of the pieces. The scoop, rake and scraper and finished with a really nice coat of hammered paint for durability. Having two large dogs with large poops I appreciate the scoop base being a good size.eans less trios to empty the scoop. Even better, the scraper is perfect for cleaning my chicken coop! This is a very lightweight but still sturdy pooper scooper set. The poles for the three tools are all basically the same connectable poles that you get with broom and mop sets off Amazon. There are three connecting poles for each tool The tools are made of lightweight aluminum but still thick enough to not bend or flex. There's a spade, a rake and a scoop bucket. To hold everything together, the kit comes with a couple of pole clips that you can use to clip two of the poles together to each other. The scooper works well. I've been primarily using the rake to just roll poop into the scoop bucket but every once in a while my dogs leave piles that don't wanna roll, so I have to use the spade to lift those up. ... show more

This set is made up of three tools - a small scoop, a small rake, and a small scraper. The handles are made up of a few pieces of thin-walled tube that connect together. It appears as though a lot of thought went into the handle connections. They go together easily and fit securely. The tool ends appear to be powder-coated steel and are riveted together. They have a sort of stippled finish. Most of what I picked up with it slid off or out, but some stuck. So it seems like the options would be to leave the tools outside, rinse them off after using them, or wait until what you’re picking up has dried out a bit. I was using it to clean up after a Great Dane and a Basset Hound, so for me, the scoop could have been a little bigger. The rake was better for more solid material, especially in grass. The scraper worked well enough for everything else. A nice feature was the clips that hold the tools together. Clip the rake and scraper to the scoop and they all stand up ready for the next use. For as light as this scooper set it, it feels very sturdy and durable. It was very easy to assemble and stands on its own. Hasn't been blown down by wind yet, but Spring is coming so we'll see. The handles are nice and tall, so no bending is necessary, even standing around 5'8"/5'9". This is extremely helpful to someone with a bad back! There is a little bit of wiggle at each of the joints, but it doesn't make it feel like it's going to fall apart or more difficult to scoop. ... show more
