My dad was a semi-pro golfer and he made me HATE golfing. But I did know how to play. I had not played for 34 years and opted to take it up in an attempt to lose weight. My oldest son (32) wanted to go do some practice with me, we both enjoyed it. I later took my younger son (30) and we enjoyed it, so my wife and I bought 2 sets of these and gave each of our sons their own. Then we went and played 9 rounds. We shall never speak of those scores. The boys really like the clubs, they handled well for being low cost. Of course if you rated the clubs on their ability....well the clubs are nice and the bags are as well. If you are a beginner or just need a second set of clubs I do suggest these. But don't expect them to help your ability to play..... ... show more

I recently started playing golf, and I was shopping around for low-priced golf sets, and of course I looked at Amazon first. This set is perfect for beginners — irons are durable and sturdy, and feel good when they make contact with the ball — 6-P is perfect to perfect your irons game. The hybrid clubs are flexible and easy to swing. The wood, hybrid, and driver clubs are a little unforgiving, but that can be beneficial to perfecting your game early. Bag is quality with plenty of space. If you’re okay with a cart bag, this is perfect. Overall, take it from me. If you’re looking for a beginner set of clubs like I was, but don’t want to pay a fortune, these will easily get the job done. ... show more

Given the price of these I should have expected this, but the driver cracked about 13 minutes into my first day at the driving range with them. They are of low quality, but an easy set of clubs to play with. Expect to replace them quickly.

Definitely not a hard hitter but the first time the driver was used it broke. I'm not super experienced with golf but pretty sure the clubs shouldn't break first time used.
