The wheel is - aesthetically pleasing for natural enclosures - easy to clean - easy to adjust - sturdy, & - it has a heavy base, so it will not fall on your hamster - The wheel is almost completely silent, other than the tapping of their little feet! I only hear an extremely quiet white noise “whooshing” sound (I personally find it very soothing) - I’d recommend a large for a Syrian hamster OR a medium for a dwarf hamster. Going a size down for big hamsters will hurt their spine long term and reduce the resistance/quality of the exercise. Make sure you place it on a flat surface that can hold its weight, like a platform. Ideally on top of something where they can still burrow underneath. I use mine with a bin cage and niteangel platform underneath. The only problem I have with the wheel is my hamster likes to pee in it. The urine drips down and dries in the cracks. This can easily be remedied by wiping it out nightly and soaking it weekly (in a mix of warm soapy water, vinegar, and a little baking soda) 10/10 would recommend

I was really hesitant to spend so much on a hamster wheel but the "silent" wheel we had before was so noisy and keeping us up at night. I had to do something, so I went ahead and ordered it. I'm so glad I did and wish I would have sooner! It is absolutely silent. Another added bonus is it's heavy enough that my hamster doesn't slide the wheel around his cage when he's running. This was a problem with the first wheel we had. It also seems to be chew proof. I 100% recommend this wheel and would definitely buy it again.

Really love this wheel. I got it for my fancy mouse. Feels very durable, it's height is VERY easy to adjust which is so nice. My mouse looks very comfortable in it and really loves it. I've had many different wheels over the years and this is by far the easiest to clean. Definitely recommend.

I bought my son a Syrian dwarf hamster for his birthday. I was a bit skeptical to buy this wheel due to the price but decided to get it because it had such great reviews. We got the medium size and I am so glad I did! The hamster is overall much happier since we attached this to the inside of his cage. He runs in it often and now sleeps much better during the day. The quality of the wheel is even better than I expected. It’s wide enough for plenty of running space without him being uncomfortable. It’s very quiet so he does not disturb us during the night. This wheel is definitely worth the extra money to see him so much more happy and more content in his cage
