    • Nice couch and nice bed!

This makes for a very comfortable bed and couch. It shipped a couple of weeks before it was expected to. Once assembled it is pretty heavy, It came in handy when we had extra company over for the weekend. My wife put an egg crate foam topper and a pillow top cover on it so it is very comfy. The directions are a little misleading especially if you got the model with the folding trays on the sides. When you get to the part of the instructions that have you attach the mattress frame to the backrest there are some long pins and rollers used that are inserted into to make the mattress frame assembly. If you have followed the directions, this is impossible because the couch frame ends are closed and the backrest is in place. The only way to do it is to remove the front screws from the laterals and loosen the rear screws so you can swing the ends open wide enough and remove the backrest. Then assemble the rear backrest and seat frame (mattress frame assembly) outside of the couch frame. With the couch frame open enough you can insert the entire mattress frame into the roller slots and close it up and reattach the screws. Also when opening it up to make the bed you want to ensure you are 2 or more feet away from the wall or else the backrest will hit the wall. All in all it is a nice looking piece of furniture and fairly easy to assemble. ... show more

The frame is excellent! The Mattress is not worth the price they charge. It deflates and you can feel the frame’s panels under the mattress after sitting for a while. The same when you open the frame to make the bed. Otherwise the frame is really sturdy and looks beautiful.

Absolutely loved this futon!! This is exactly what I was looking for! I was looking for something which turns into a queen bed, has drawer storage. This is also made of real solid wood! Looks amazing in the living room. I absolutely LOVE the blue mattress and I love the high back rest! It's very good for the back! The fabric feels really natural and it's very comfortable! Futon cove was more jersey than twill. I picked the twill in hopes that it would not snag. It snags easily under normal use. Otherwise it is a nice piece of furniture. I love the drawers.

I put together the futon myself. It took longer than expected but I like it cause it is real wood. Fake, manufactured wood sofas/futons are horrible. The drawers are a little annoying when they slide out a little. Otherwise, great buy. Good color. Sturdy. Easy to put together, but tedious in how long it takes. Take your time.
