    • Buggy.. they sold me a busted switch
When the switch is on and doing it's thing it works perfectly. I only had a issue when I turned it off and on (sleep mode). once the switch was set to sleep I always had problems with tuning it back on. The device would consistently turn on for about 8 seconds and the sleep window would pop up then it would turn its self back off again. This usually resulted in it never turning back on no matter what buttons I pressed. The power button also never worked. If i wanted to turn off the console while it was on it wouldn't work. If i wanted to hard reset it.. it didn't work. The only way I could use my device in between uses was to charge it with an C type cable. This usually made it restart and I wasn't able to resume gameplay, which was fine at first, but quickly became a pain in my A** over time. Additionally, I tried docking the switch since that charges it. I figured that since charging the switch with the cable worked the dock would alleviate my issues. This was a major failure as well, sometimes it would open up the previous game I was playing and resume before turning its self off or restart itself just to turn it's self off. Overall, this company hit me with that Gamestop treatment, sneaky bastards! If this device didn't work fine when it wasn't freaking out I would have given it a 1 star. I have a replacement coming tomorrow and I will be sending this console back. If this next device is bad too I will never buy refurbished again and will change the rating to a 1. ... show more

    • Powercords dont last long!
After asking for a switch for 2 years (he has an Xbox one S and we just refused to gaming systems), we finally gave in a bought our 7 year old a Nintendo Switch for his birthday in September. Our son was so excited when he opened it that he was literally shaking, it brought tears to my eyes! He played with it daily until a month after getting it, the Nintendo Switch would not charge! It would not charge on the base or with just the cord. I wasn't sure if the internal battery in the console itself had died, if the dock had gone bad, if the cord was bad or if it was something wrong with the console period, so I spent several days online researching and resetting the console to no avail, so I ordered a new cord and internal battery to find that the cord was bad. So Buyer beware, if your Switch stops charging, try changing your power cord first and save yourself a lot of headache!!! ... show more

It took a little longer than normal for it to come but I can't be any happier with my purchase the system has no scratches or cracks in it the buttons aren't jammed either it keeps its charge pretty good as well I don't know if the volume is always sounds low in handheld mode but it not a big deal I would recommend save some money ... show more

    • Great for games. Not for streaming.
Got for our two girls for Christmas. Ages 6 and 8. They love it, great for playing together or playing alone. Before you buy know that the streaming services available on the Nintendo are very few. If your intent is to use this for games and streaming I would suggest a different console.

    • Not Disappointing, Quality Product!
I was skeptic when I bought this due to the reviews and the D- minus rating on fakespot.com. However, Its has been about two weeks since I purchased this product and it has withstood countless hours of playing. No issues with start up, no issues with overheating, and I have not received the error message many people are experiencing. Can't believe I actually bought one of these. ALready had XBOX One and Playstation 4...and PS3, and Xbox 360, and Wii, and PC Games, and DSs, etc etc etc BUT...the kids LOVE this thing. THe only real thing I love about it is now that the motion-sensor games are no longer a hot thing, you can still do them with the Switch. So, I got my kids a bunch of games that require them to get off the couch to play. ... show more
