These headlights are bright

I bought these based on reviews / discussion at thenewx.org saying they were more or less a direct drop-in replacement for a 2005-2015 Nissan XTerra. After some fighting with them, I did get these installed and they look great - a major improvement oven the OEM or even "high brightness" halogen/xenon bulbs. The light throw, color, and brightness are drastically improved. With the halogen bulbs I had in previously, I had trouble seeing at night to the point I was a bit scared to drive the car after dark. With these, I have no concerns at all. I did deduct one star because the product photos are a little misleading; also, installation on the XTerra is a bit fiddly. There's an extra wire and box that sort of just hang out of the headlight module - I ziptied it to some other nearby conduit/wires to keep everything from moving around too much. Also, the XTerra's locking ring that holds the headlight bulbs in place interferes with the wire coming out of the Nineo headlight module, which makes it a little tough to get everything lined up and put into place. Ideally, they'd have routed the wire more towards the back instead of out towards the side. That said, once I got everything in place, they seem secure. I'll update the review if anything changes in terms of longevity, but so far, I'd buy these again for the XTerra.
