This is very easy to install and you should have no concerns of them coming loose. The front ones would probably stay in place even without the double sided stick tape and clips. The rear ones need both to remain secure. For me, I was hoping these would cut down on the wind noise coming from the windows, no such luck. These are just as nice as all the other more expensive sets, and look great, but when installing my driver-door guard, it snapped, so now I have a cracked one on my car, right from the start. Maybe this is my fault or a manufacturer defect, but it's not a good feeling with something new when it breaks. The value overall is good and they fit perfect, but even so, you need to bend them to fit into the channels, that's where mine cracked. Still looks fine but the water drips in now. The adhesive is not coming off, I didn't even use the clips supplied. They gave extra adhesive and a pry tool which are handy for the install. ... show more

I really really wanted these to work. They look nice and they contour nicely with the door - perfect fit for my 2011 F150 with the super cab. However - they constantly trigger the safety feature in the window. In other words, once they reach the top of closing something must bind or be too tight causing the window to think something is impeding it and it goes right back down. I even asked the manufacturer if they could send me extra clips to put up in the channel (they did). Even with extra clips I just couldn’t get the windows to close normally. It did’t happen every time, but more than 50% of the time. So disappointing. ... show more
