Just installed and it looks great and works great. I had to add some extra wire to go to the running lights as the pigtails were quite short, but can't expect a universal kit to fit all trailers exactly. Included almost everything i needed, had to use some of my own hardware and extra wire. All in all happy with it. Longevity is TBD but everything seems to be good quality. One note is that the driver's side rear light has the license plate light which causes it to be taller than the other as the lense sticks out from the body so if you're mounting it inside a recess, you'll need an extra 1/4-1/2 inch or so of height. Also, the included hardware for the running lights and ground wires doesn't work for metal, so if installing on metal (which you'll need to ground to the frame) you'll need your own self tapping screws. ... show more

I do not write reviews very often but when one is owed, I do. Install, all the necessary parts and pieces for the install were included though I would recommend staying away from the 3M style connectors and picking up some red butt connectors, shrink tubing and electrical tape. There are some good techniques out there but I would recommend taping the new wires to the old wires and pulling them out the back, this method pulls your new wires down the tubes as you pull out the old wires from the back. Quality, the lights are modern looking and have bright LEDs that match my trucks taillights very well and most importantly let other drivers know I am pulling a trailer. After 30+ boat launches, they have zero leaks. Customer Service, this is where I feel Nilight went above and beyond. I emailed them through their website to see if they would sell me just one taillight. Backstory, two years ago I blew a trailer tire and cracked the lens, not knowing how many dunks in the lake my silicon job would last I reached out to Nilight. To my complete surprise, they asked me what light and what my address was. I replied and told them this wasn't their fault and this was not a warranty claim. They replied and wished me a happy life. New light was installed and an extremely satisfied customer is now spreading the word, already sent a link to my dad so he can replace his boat trailer lights too. Thanks Nilight! ... show more

These trailer lights perfectly aligned and bolted onto existing brackets on my Bayliner boat trailer. The light housings seem molded from a fairly brittle plastic when compared to the tough, resilient OEM light housings. I didn't detect any water intrusion in the housings after being submerged while launching my boat, but I doubt that the lights will hold up over time. I did not use the included wire connectors, which are not sealed. Instead, I purchased Solder Seal Heat Shrink Butt Connectors on Amazon (https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B07PXJ6S11?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details), which are waterproof, easily installed, and worked great. The license plate bracket is molded from the same brittle plastic as the light housings, and the bracket broke off (along with my license plate) at some point during my first trip. Lesson learned: use the lights, scrap the license plate bracket. For the low price, these lights are a good buy. ... show more

Light filled with water and several LEDs stopped functioning after just 3 months (maybe sooner, I just noticed it) Sending correspondence to the manufacturer now, but I don’t have much hope in getting a response. Says 2 year warranty, so hopefully they will stay behind their product. UPDATE: the manufacturer was very apologetic and replaced the damaged light in under a weeks time. Very nice! ... show more

I don't enjoy writing negative reviews. I offer this as a service to other buyers wanting more information to save time and frustration. I was initially surprised to find a set of LED fully submersible trailer lights for this low cost and with some accessories as well. I used the exisitng wiring and more adequate products to make the connections. The quick splice accessories that are included are a bad idea for anything getting dunked in the water, especially since my trailer is used in salt. I bought these to replace the original incandescent lights before haul out. I installed them easily enough and was happy with their performance. Everything tested well before the initial dunk to pick up the boat. The very first time of use I noticed led failures while doing the the pre-transport light check. I looked at the lights to see water intrusion in both units..... If these were sealed it couldn't have happened, so not submersible for this set. Many folks are reviewing these with good results. I can only surmise that manufacturing is spotty so you won't know whether yours will leak. If you take the chance on these, Take them out of the carton, dunk them in the tub and see if yours will take on water before you end up doing your install twice as well as the dance with the supplier and all that. If yours are sealed then you have got an excellent value. I didn't even bother to reach out to the supplier. So I can't speak to the responsiveness of customer service. I did buy these after the lights got smashed about mid season but didnt install until end of season as my boats slipped. I may reach out to see what response I'll get. I will report back to let you know. Reached out to company for warranty. Absolutely no response. I have lowered my rating to one star. ... show more
