The light bar was easy to install and get wired up. However if you are not familiar with auxiliary vehicle light wiring you might have a little trouble. There was not a wiring diagram included. A simple google search can help you out. You'll need your own switch, wires, and relay. Recommend purchasing the wiring harness if you dont already have one. The light bar could be a little brighter, but it works great for what I need. If you need long distance lighting you will need to purchase spotlights instead. This is true with all light bar applications due to the bars not set up for focal point lighting. Light bars are wide range lighting. Also, I would suggest you mount your light bar on the bumper of your vehicle instead of the roof. Roof mounting results in the light projecting so much light onto the hood which can blind you out. As for the construction of this light, it is extremely strong and durable. Very good materials for the price. For example, I was involved in a front end collision a couple months after I mounted the light bar and the light bar took the brunt of the impact. The bull bar it was mounted on was completely flattened and the bumper was bent beyond repair. But to my surprise the light bar was bearly damaged (if you would even call it damaged). Other than some paint transferred from the other vehicle and a slightly bent heat fin on the back, it was completely unharmed. All lights work perfectly like it was fresh out of the box. I waited a bit before adding a review for this light bar. After about 3 months of being installed I have to say I'm very happy with it. It's very bright and puts out plenty of light. The spot and flood beam pattern is great, much better than my last light bar. Quality seems good, I was pretty concerned it would develop moisture inside but so far it hasn't. It's been through numerous car washes, rain storms and bumpy roads and it's still working perfectly. I would buy one again Update: it’s been a number of months since installing this light and it is still great. No moisture in it at all, lense is perfectly clear and no burned out leds. I bought this to install on the push portion of my Jeep bumper. I went with the 26" because I wanted a good spread of light along with the spot area. After the obligatory pre-install test, the install was super easy. I started with the Nilight 12AWG harness which worked very well. I then ended up with a BUS set up so I can add more lights later without having to wire them through my A-pillar. The light bar is VERY bright but I'm not sure it's actually 36000LM. Nonetheless, it is plenty bright enough so I don't have to nit-pick at the lumens. I would definitely buy it again. ... show more

I just installed this one my crawler in my garage. I am pretty sure when I turned it on I lit up my neighbor across the street's whole house. It's way brighter than a comparably sized light bar from Harbor Freight.

The media could not be loaded. 100% recommended, I installed it and it lights up quite well. Update: I used it during the rainy season and water got in, now it's damp. I recommend that if you buy one, you put silicone on all the edges and the cable to prevent moisture from seeping in. I still recommend them for the price and lighting, but I'm lowering it by one star because water got in, haha. ... show more

The installation along with the wire harness was very easy took maybe an hour with drilling holes. Fairly plug and play. Very good value for price. Not very adjustable down but that could be user error or location. It performs very well at night. Mine isn’t in a spot to check durability. It’s on the roof ... show more

I purchased this to replace my aging combination of 2 big spotlights and 2 medium floodlights. Currently the Spots are too focused (almost a pencil beam) and the floods just aren't getting the job done. This should be an easy install as the mounting points and wiring is already there.
