I will update this review as time goes on, as for the product I really like the packaging and quality of product. Honestly if the bulb burns out I’ll have to do another review because I failed to realize how hard bmw makes it to change the passenger side headlight bulb. It took me 30 seconds max on the driver side because of how much room there is but the passenger side I can barley get my fist in the right spot to find the guide the bulb in its socket. Great alternative to brand name bulbs. The install in my BMW convertable was a pain. Not the fault of the bulbs themselves. With these, two bulbs cost 1/3 what one brand name costs. I went with the 6000k bulbs. They are slightly on the blue side. I wish I had just went with the 4300k. They may grow on me. Updated comment: After breaking in the blue hue is gone! The light is very bright but that’s a plus with inspection!! The part is $99 at Auto Zone and if you choose to just go to the mechanic for it all. I was look at well over $500. To find this $99 piece for $15 and two of them! I rolled my eyes like really talk about trying to get over! I got this and was nervous because of the price difference but it’s the exact same thing! My headlight bulbs lasted me over 10 years! But they did get dimmer over time and I didn't notice (I thought it was cuz the car was just old). I am a DIYer and mine were pretty difficult to replace so I was happy I had them on hand when one of them went out (15 years later). I originally ordered LEDs but later found that LEDs and HIDs are incompatible. 🤦 There is also a big difference between d1s and d3s. The difference between these and the ones I replaced are night and day! Definitely recommend these :) ... show more

The price couldn't be beat! I would highly recommend these bulbs. They were extremely bright as expected. I can't speak on longevity yet as they were just installed. The shop who installed them said that the should last a while based on my drive habits/tearraine.

I took apart the light fixture on my 2011 VW Golf and plugged in the new bulb only to find that it didn’t work. Tried the other bulb with the same result. Disappointed that I now have to take the vehicle to the shop for them to install factory bulbs.
