Like another reviewer wrote; the moment one tries to use the grommets for tube sizes larger than 1.5inch, the bolts are not long enough. The modularity of the kit is nice, but more fastener options are required; if any and all of the sizes are in fact going to be used. The clamps themselves are very nice and are heavy-duty. IF one agrees to the requirement of finding stainless hex-socket-cap fasteners and lock washers to go with their setup. then its a good deal. Otherwise, do not expect to be able to obtain the package and finish your project; hope you have enough of the right fasteners ready. ... show more

    • Mounting bolts are too short!
The provided mounting bolts are too short when mounting to bars larger than 1 1/2 inches. When installing on larger bars the rubber bushings cause excessive gap between the clamp, so when you attempt to tighten them together there are not enough threads which caused two of mine to stop out. Subsequently, I had to purchase longer bolts from the hardware store at $1.19 each. If there were various bolts provided I would give a rating of nearly 5 stars. Bottom line... brackets are good, bushings are good but the bolts SUCK for large bar application!! ... show more
