I have been a customer and fan of Nilight since 2018 when I bought some off road lights for my lawn tractor. Those are some quality lights that still operate flawlessly. I have a 2011 Fat Boy Lo, and ever since I bought it new, the lights on it have had fog inside them. I did disassemble the headlight one time in an effort to defog it, but that did not last long. You can see in the first picture, the 'driving lights' are literally 'fog lights'. My OEM headlight glass is actual glass, not sure about the driving lights being glass or plastic. I received these lights yesterday and when I opened the box I thought 'ooooh these are NICE!' I have liked the look of these for many years now, and being too tight to buy them, I never had them. But having an opportunity to order them in the Vine program, I thought it was time. I started to install them last night at 11pm, since when the family goes to bed, I get busy in the workshop. Total time took 3 hours, but only because I had to find tools, listen to youtube videos (not about the install, investing stuff) and tidying up a little. The main light was a very simple unplug the old, plug in the new. There are 3 tabs to line up the light; it was tight but a little more pressure and it 'popped' in. Easy job. The driving lights were a little more technical and involved some electrical work. Worth noting, if you are working on a Harley of this vintage, the gray wire is the '+' wire, as is the red on the supplied pigtail. But you will likely need to tap the supplied pigtail into your wiring. That's not real hard to do, I chose to cut the existing connector and reconnect that one and the new one in parallel with soldered joints, followed up with heatshrink. Keeping the light fittings future proof and backwards compatible is not necessary - unless you are me. Once soldered, I tested them to ensure I did not have to redo them. The last part. On the right handed one, it went together relatively easily. The left side was a little tougher and I'm not sure why. It may have to do with the fact I'd had more time to have more adult bevvies or not, but that is a plausible scenario. I believe I kept getting hung up on one of the connectors inside the housing, as I now had 2 connectors instead of the one, which made it a little more cramped in there, but certainly the both fit inside. You really need 3 or 4 hands to do this last part, but if you're just barely creative, you can make it happen easily. My bike is black and the blackout lenses fit the theme and really are good looking on my bike. The output light is a gorgeous white light and breathes fresh air into my bike's lungs. Really happy with these lights. On the install; my time was around 3 hours as apparently I have some form of ADD with respect to distractions. If I'd have been focussed on only these lights, I think I could have had the install done in an hour. Remember, plug and play on the main light, the other 2 will probably require splicing. The lenses themselves I'm sure are plastic, but what headlights on new cars are not plastic these days? But the fact that the OEM is glass, is a miracle really. I haven't test ridden yet. I plan to revisit this review in the future, to report on road testing and longevity.

Any of us that have ridden bikes for any period of time know that cagers always say "I didn't see the motorcycle". In fact, if you took the MSF, that's what they told us over and over again...you have to be visible. So, I resolved to have as much light as possible on my bike, particularly on the front. To that end, I upgraded my turn lights and then realized that...they are bright white but my OEM headlight and fog lights were the old, dull, soft white light. They don't match. Plus, once I'd seen the bright whites, I knew that was the way to go. Afterall, my motto is when people see my bike coming I want them to think the sun is rising. Enter these lights. First and foremost, let me say that this is a relatively easy install. I have an HD Ultra Classic, I've done a few other mods myself, and this one wasn't too bad. There were no instructions in the box and no way to get any from the seller. That came close to being a star issue, but decided that, frankly, it would be difficult for them to include instructions for every situation. I have bought other light products from other sellers that did include directions, but oh well. The install was not too difficult, but there were a couple of surprises. First, these are not plug and play. I needed to cut the old adapters out and splice in the new adapters for the new lights. Not a big deal, and if you have a little bit of technical know how, it didn't stop me. Additionally, you need to know that the OEM circular adapter for the fog lights is necessary in the end. However, fitting everything into the housing was a serious challenge, but we got it all in there. The headlight was a bit easier, but you have to figure out how it all fits in. Again, it was a lot of sort of figuring it out as I went along. I pretty much knew how it should look at the end, so I could sort it out as I went along. As for value, well, this is cheaper than going with the OEM and it works just fine. The upgrade made my bike pop out in appearance quite a bit, matched the whiteness of the other lights, and, I think, makes me more visible. Overall, good addition. A few challenges on the install, but 5 Stars from me.

Lights came packed well, and in great shape. These lights are bright, and have fairly wide coverage. I am installing them on my Street Glide as driving lights to add to my visibility. They serve this purpose well. Depending on what type, brand, style of light buckets you have, there may be some issues in fitting these lights and adjusting them. It took me quite a while to fit and secure the lights. They aren't the exact dimensions of an OEM light, so this may be the cause. Also, the buckets I have aren't OEM, so that could be the cause. Just note that fitting might take time, and be prepared. The lights come with a standard wiring harness, both ends, with the ability to splice into any electrical wiring you may have. I'm attempting to split off of the headlight, and run these from that connection. My LED headlight, plus these bulbs, won't pull as much power as the OEM halogen, so that should work great. Overall, really nice bulbs. They are bright with great coverage. They don't get particularly hot. Don't require anything additional, unless your circumstances require it. I would buy the Nilight bulbs any time.
