I do not write reviews very often but when one is owed, I do. Install, all the necessary parts and pieces for the install were included though I would recommend staying away from the 3M style connectors and picking up some red butt connectors, shrink tubing and electrical tape. There are some good techniques out there but I would recommend taping the new wires to the old wires and pulling them out the back, this method pulls your new wires down the tubes as you pull out the old wires from the back. Quality, the lights are modern looking and have bright LEDs that match my trucks taillights very well and most importantly let other drivers know I am pulling a trailer. After 30+ boat launches, they have zero leaks. Customer Service, this is where I feel Nilight went above and beyond. I emailed them through their website to see if they would sell me just one taillight. Backstory, two years ago I blew a trailer tire and cracked the lens, not knowing how many dunks in the lake my silicon job would last I reached out to Nilight. To my complete surprise, they asked me what light and what my address was. I replied and told them this wasn't their fault and this was not a warranty claim. They replied and wished me a happy life. New light was installed and an extremely satisfied customer is now spreading the word, already sent a link to my dad so he can replace his boat trailer lights too. Thanks Nilight!

Just installed and it looks great and works great. I had to add some extra wire to go to the running lights as the pigtails were quite short, but can't expect a universal kit to fit all trailers exactly. Included almost everything i needed, had to use some of my own hardware and extra wire. All in all happy with it. Longevity is TBD but everything seems to be good quality. One note is that the driver's side rear light has the license plate light which causes it to be taller than the other as the lense sticks out from the body so if you're mounting it inside a recess, you'll need an extra 1/4-1/2 inch or so of height. Also, the included hardware for the running lights and ground wires doesn't work for metal, so if installing on metal (which you'll need to ground to the frame) you'll need your own self tapping screws.

The wiring is copper coated aluminum, i doubt power draw is an issue but I wonder about corrosion resistance. I used but splices with heat shrink ends on everything instead of the cheap splice connectors it came with. Other than the cheap wire and connectors, the lights seam nice.

They have been on the trailer for a few months. They get dunked in salt water every weekend. They are holding up well. And they were easy to install.

Been needing to get a new set of lights for my mower trailer since I accidently backed into a tree and broke my original oem trailer lights. Found these trailer lights from Nilight on Amazon and decided to give them a shot since I have had great success with their led light bars. Well let me tell you these lights live up to their sibling lightbar's reputation as well in performance, durability, and quality of build. These led lights are much brighter than the oem bulb lights that were on the trailer. No comparison. They are supposed to be waterproof and I would suspect if they were on a boat trailer they would prove to be so. They do not feel like a set of cheap plastic lights. They feel like they weigh at least twice as much as my original lights which means they are not flimsy and will surely last a long time. I am glad that I made this purchase and would recommend a set of these lights to anyone. Great product for a great price.

We completely restored our 1991 Grady White and added these lights to the new aluminum trailer we bought for it as one of the factory lights had failed. The lights are bigger and brighter than the factory trailer lights and fit the trailer perfectly. My only very strong recommendation is that you do yourself a favor and order fully waterproof heat shrink butt connectors and don't use the cheap connectors they come with or they will fail. Trust me, you'll thank me months from now especially if you go in salt water like we do! I gave it a 3 on water resistance because of the crappy connectors, the lights seem pretty robust, but only time will tell. The lights look great as they are a different pattern when the running lights are on and much brighter when braking.
