    • Tread design engineering is well below satisfactory

The tread design engineering is extremely bad for walking on carpeting or smooth surfaces. The tread grabs the carpet fibers and feels like chewing gum stuck to the sole of the shoe. A simular effect occurs with a smooth tile floor surface, with a mild suction affect due to a part of the tread geometry forming a plunger in the middle of the shoe. Normaly a good sole tread is robust as it travels up the side of the shoe and has some nice tread design for gripping the ground when the shoe sole bottom is not parallel to the ground. This shoe has paper thin tread extension with zero tread as it wraps to the top side of the shoe. Thus, there is poor grip on the corners. The expected blue swathe areas were black, not the expected blue, and has already exhibited patches of brown underneath the black coloring. The shoe string laces are not long enough to travel through all the holes and allow for any normal foot to be secured with a bow knot at the end. The takeaway is to always avoid these worthless circular tread design pattern shoes, and spend much much more money for better NIKI quality. ... show more
